Nice place to stay with strategic location as just 3mins walk to QVM and very close to many attractive shopping places. Furthermore this hotel has provided self laundry machine and very convenient for long holiday.. . Fully recommended to stay.. Will stay here again for the next trip.

The Ibis in Therry St is in a great location, very close access to Vic Markets and not too far to walk to the major shops and Lygon St too. Easy access to trams as well. Also Therry St is a bit quieter that the main roads which is helpful for dropping of and picking up. Staff were helpful. Some... More

We received a nice welcome upon check in and we got the room at 1 pm though it was mentioned the room is available after 2 pm. The room is spacious is clean. Wifi signal is wrong and stable. We are still staying here but hesitate... More

Hotel Ibis is a simple but funtional hotel. It has a very good location and It is very clean. Furnitures are OK with some imperfectons in doors. I think it's a little bit expensive. You have to Pay to have free WIFI in you room! Personal are correct.

Location: The Ibis is located in a fantastic area of Melbourne's CBD. Its location is definitely one of its great qualities which made us book. It is around a 2 minute walk to the Queen Victoria Markets and Flagstaff Gardens. There is a tram station at the end of the street, which provides convenient transport further into or outside of... Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
