Situated in an inner city laneway of Melbourne, this hotel is a great location for venturing around Melbourne. Step straight outside the door to a selection of cafes for brekkie. But note, these are not open on weekends, only week days. However, there are still many more to choose from all within an easy walk. The rooms themselves are clean...

We have stayed here on numerous occasions for weekend trips from Tassie. It is ideal for central location, trams just few metres away. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and we had a great time with the staff after dinner. Very friendly

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for two nights during the week and cannot fault it much other than for the fact that, as with many other hotels nowadays, the effort made to try to be environmentally friendly is wasted by the fact that all our entire bathroom linen was replaced despite us following the instructions of hanging...

Can't really get any closer to the heart of Melbourne's CBD, excellent proximity to Bourke street mall and tram stops. Clean and very quiet rooms. Excellent parking arrangements. Reasonably priced rooms, often including continental breakfast.

Had a 1 night stay here on 29th August. My daughter and I were in Melbourne to see The Lion King. Perfect location, was only a couple of blocks from the theatre. We booked King Deluxe room. Bed was super comfortable, although the room was short on space. Everything was clean, staff friendly and helpful. Lifts were quick, location was...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
