The room was well prepared but both shower heads were broken. The TV remote didn't work unless you pressed on the batteries. Paying for internet. Is that still a thing? It was nice. Just make stuff work.

Spacious accommodation of a full service apartment. However, the toilet was not able to flush and the kettle cover is unable to close. Checking out early in the morning at 6.30am was slow and no one was at the front desk when I arrived.

Nice concept and good sized rooms. Location great, two bathrooms also ideal for two solo travellers sharing. However apartment really needs a deep clean. Bathrooms were not up to standard, looks like it has been refurbished at some point but really needs a full refit

Great location, room was clean, staff were great. The bathrooms were small and sleep was not great as you could hear too much from the main road and other rooms. There were bags of linen in the corridor which seemed like it was always there. Lift was old and the eating area was also quite dated. This place would be...

The location was perfect. We had time for pre drinks and dinner just down the road and then onto the Theatre. An easy and safe stroll back. Our room was spacious and clean. The toiletries supplied were lovely with fresh fragrance.

Great location with easy access to Lygon St and the city. Great location to enjoy White Night. Disappointed when other guests decided to throw a plant in the pool just as kids were going to have a swim

Handy location to transport, shops and universities. Front desk staff helpful but billed us incorrectly and had to phone us to add additional charges. The rooms were spacious but not welll maintained or clean. The beds and pillows were comfy and the rooms quite spacious. Balconies are very tiny.

The apartment was dirty. The kitchen sink needed to be scrubbed. There were long black hairs in the bathroom (I have short blonde hair). The balcony doors had cleaning marks from were the suds had been applied but not removed - smudges easily seen Staff not engaging

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
