Spent 4 nights at the Mid City Hotel recently and wasn't impressed. Our room, on level 2, was directly above the drive way and twice we were woken at around 4.30 in the morning when either rubbish was emptied or laundry picked up - not sure which, just know there was a lot of noise. The New Sydney Hotel which...

Once block from the Elizabeth St Mall – literally right in the heart of the city. Easy walk to everything. It’s a three star hotel – not five as some of the other reviewers seem to expect. Our room appeared to have been recently renovated, very clean and tidy with great views of the city and Mt Wellington. Great pub...

Not a bad hotel close to town. The beds need an upgrade hard as a rock as were the pillows. Staff were very helpful and car parking facilities were handy being that close to town. Would stay again if the beds were upgraded as no sleep and kids are always a great way to spend a holiday!!

Stayed here many times, its been refurbished since my last trip. New mattresses -the beds are now super comfy. Showers/bathrooms have been done up, as clean as ever but now very shiny and new looking into the bargain. And the lifts, which used to groan and creak, are now super fast and reliable. Staff extremely helpful and willing to go...

Friendly receptionist & clean room. It looked liked they'd revamped the rooms & the bathroom was very modern. Communal areas seem a little bit tired but overall not a bad place to stay. Perfectly situated for lots of shops, places to eat & only a 10 to 15 minute walk down to the waterfront. We stayed for 5 nights &...

Just what we needed for a one night stay in Hobart. Clean simple rooms with super friendly staff, comfy beds, free wifi & Luggage storage. Desperately needs a face lift - but that's why it's cheaper. 4 blocks from the water. Surrounded by retail, Antique stores etc. we didn't need the car park - but it looks accessible and is...

We only needed somewhere to stay for a night and they made changes so our rooms could be adjoining which was good. Rooms were clean and well presented - not a lot of extra room but only to sleep so that was ok. Car parks outside were VERY small though - ridiculously small...

If you book through another site make sure you take your confirmation email especially if it says free wifi and parking. My checkin was very "unfriendly " and I was made to feel like I was in the wrong when she tried to charge me for parking (free wifi equates to 600mb per person). In fact the checkin was the...

Comfortable and clean accomodation in the Hobart CBD, room was clean and comfortable enough for three of us and the staff were friendly and helpful. Location is ideal being right in the CBD within an easy walk of the wharves and bus interchange with all the shopping you need right outside the door.

Very central hotel good for a stop over while travelling. Basic room comfy bed. Friendly staff and good pricing. Car park out the back. Pity the shower was so tiny and low over the bath and only one flannel provided for us two otherwise we were happy. Laundry facilities available.
