The host was very friendly and made us feel welcome immediately. The kitchen was great and they offered a free breakfast and tea and coffee, which was much appreciated. Our room was absolutely adorable. It was a twin share and was on the lower level. It was very sweet, cosy and comfortable. I was worried about being cold, being from...

We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend Edinburgh to anyone. But take care when booking your room as the shared bathroom is on first floor. We had a basement room and the walk was long to get to the toilet. Beakfast was good and varied. Decent value for money

Sadly I only stayed one night. This place is a little gem and quite handy to Salamanca and the city all within a couple of minutes walk. like many of the grand old homes of Hobart you will not be disappointed by the wonderfully kept period homes with all the quirky furnishings and art work to make you feel like...

Let me start with the good points John is indeed very friendly and met us as son as we arrived. We were in room 6 and as there were only the 2 of us this was one of the biggest rooms I have stayed in, with a double bed and single bed in our room and then in an annex...

This bed and breakfast is in a central location which provided older style rooms which were very comfortable with nice furnishings. The host was very welcoming and friendly, he showed us to our room and explained how everything worked. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and ample with many choices, and the jams and spreads provided were excellent. The kitchen...

We stayed here for 7days. It is a 100 yr old house. It has shared bathroom/toilet facilities which is not a problem. Breakfast is make your own with a fully stocked kitchen with everything and for everybody's intolerances. Greatly surprised. Close to wharf & Salamanca markets which is a mere 10min walk. The main strip of shops in the Elizabeth...

The Edinburgh Gallery Bed and Breakfast in Hobart is more than just another B&B, with its interior decoration closer to the European pensions or boutique hotels. The atmosphere is nice, but the old and well decorated building has the disadvantage that you need to carry luggage on the stairs if you are not lodged at the ground level. The location...

There’s a very laid back feel to the Edinburgh Gallery, exemplified by the owner joining his guests for breakfast and occasionally pottering about to ensure all is running smoothly (as it always seems to). On the subject of breakfast, this is simple but satisfying and includes some good breads and spreads. Our room was very spacious indeed, with a comfortable...
