Stayed her for several nights in room 5 and throughly enjyed revisiting this beautiful building and B&B after a 4 yr absence. The staff were welcoming, very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The manager was v helpful in making a long term booking before we arrived and a Manager was routinely available in the mornings. Chocolate and sherry...

Looked good on all the websites we looked at, however we were allocated room 3 on the ground floor and were disappointed on arrival. The building and the shared rooms (sitting, breakfast) were lovely, however one doesn't spend all that much time in these areas. It was the bedroom where one spends most of the time that was very disappointing...

Large room with a shower over the spa bath. Nice to see old furniture still in use. Never saw the owners as they state and prefer contact through Internet. As I don't have it this was a problem. But finally got assistance

Excellent location within walking distance to Battery Point and the harbour. Lovely large room and a beautiful Federation building with stunning stained glass windows and an airy verandah. It is a shame that there is not a separate shower and that toiletries are not replaced on a daily basis. Breakfast - perfectly adequate. Coffee dreadful

Must be one of the best B&B in Hobart. Within walking distance of all the sights and downtown. Period house with hugh rooms and all modern comforts. Ample free parking adds to the attraction. Comfortable rooms with all facilities. Breakfast included and served with style. Nice sitting room with complimentary port. Well worth the money.

Our stay in Tasmania was on Sandy Bay, Hobart in an authentic style building. The owners looked after us superbly with great breakfasts and friendly yet professional staff. This is real care in real surroundings

Gattonside is a stunning heritage building full of character both outside & inside. It's actually part of the National Trust of Australia. The house is beautifully maintained & decorated, & is both luxurious & homely. The rooms are very large & comfortable, as are the beds, & the bathroom was very spacious. An added extra touch is the cosy guests'...

I absolutely loved staying in this stunning home. The home itself is stunning, the property was easy to find and easy to access. The Owner gave good instructions regarding getting into the property. Everything was lovely and clean and there was a beautiful lounge that you could sit in with a coffee machine, port and fudge waiting for you. The...

We stayed here for two nights for a mini weekend getaway. Our first impressions of the B&B was lovely, the front facade is absolutely beautiful. This was a first for my husband and I to stay in a heritage property as usually we prefer something more modern. Check in was nice and easy, a few days before we received the...
