We have used Mayfair Plaza consistently over the last five years and it is like our second home, and we always use it whenever possible. Spotlessly clean and staff are always accommodating, nothing is too much effort .

We were thrilled by the location of this basic but clean no-frills motel situated approx. 1.5 km from the city centre. We stayed for 4 nights while we explored the area. The motel is surrounded by eating venues priced from cheap to mid range. There are also many shops including 2 major supermarkets. The rooms were large enough for a...

We stayed here for 5 nights about a month ago. There were 5 of us (3 AD and 2 small children). Upon arrival we found out we had booked the wrong dates (we were 5 days earlier than what had been booked). But that was no problem to the staff, they immediately shuffled things around and fitted us in even...

We stayed at the Mayfair Plaza for three nights we were so impressed that we wished we could have stayed longer. The staff Pam & Liz were really helpful and obliging to help at all times ensuring we had a comfortable stay. The location was great for shopping, especially dining out and public transport as we had no car to...

We were so impressed and relieved when the Motel went out of their way to fit us in and looked after us. All the staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The Motel was very clean and spacious. The location...

To begin with, the staff are really friendly and efficient and made our early check in happen smoothly. The plaza used to be a collection of shops but...

The Mayfair is right in the middle of Sandy Bay which is handy and good for a one night stay if you get a good special. I wouldn't stay more than one night as it doesn't have any cooking facilities. The room was huge and took ages to warm up but after I put my case up near the door...

We had the extreme pleasure to stay at this wonderful Motel. The staff were very friendly and offered great advice on things to see and do. The motel is close to shops and restaurants , a bus stop for the Hop on Hop off Double Decker Red Bus that offers a terrific guided tour of Hobart. A short walk and...

We stayed in this Motel for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The Motel is situated in a superb location with shops and supermarkets very close by. There is also plenty of restaurants to choose from, Wrest Point Casino is just a 2 minute drive from the motel and the convenience to Hobart CBD about 4minute drive making it...

I think it's a great place right in the heart of Sandy Bay . It doesn't have a restaurant. But why would you need one when 30 metres away there is a great choice of restaurants. the rooms are very clean and the staff are helpful. Very relaxing atmosphere.
