Good location, many eating venues close by also shopping facilities. A quiet large room away from main walkways with king size bed, fridge & toaster. Laundry facilities available. Friendly helpful staff. The shower over the bath needed care to negotiate. We returned for a 2nd stay before leaving the island & they gave us the same room, much appreciated.

Love staying here as its out of the city and a quiet place to stay. This was our 4th time here. We had a booking and due to family circumstances we was unable to use the original reservation, my husband explained the situation and the staff was so helpful and sympathetic, it was so nice to actually finally use the...

Worth the short trip from the centre of Hobart. A large room, appears to be recently redecorated with a good sized bathroom. One of those few motels with a comfortable sofa which can be used to view the TV - better than laying on the bed. However there are two minus points which reduces our rating. The carpet had a...

We booked the Mayfair Plaza on the reviews. Our room overlooked the courtyard, which as mentioned by a previous poster was gloomy. This was not a problem for us as we were not here for the views. If you want good views I think a hotel overlooking the wharf would be better. We stayed here on the last night of...

Stayed in a king room and was very happy about it. Room was spacious, clean and serviced daily. Beds were comfortable. Location was great with very easy access to eateries to suit different tastes like Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and fast foods. Coles is just across the road and Woolworths only a short walk away. Its central location was also...

The accommodation is excellent and in a great location and very reasonably priced. The motel is five minutes by car from the CBD with many local shops and food outlets, Coles and Woolworths nearby, The rooms are larger than normal, very clean and the staff friendly and helpful, If we ever return to Hobart, we will definitely stay at the...

The place is clean and in a good location . Rooms are tended to daily if you like. Suitcases being wheeled passed suite at all hours crashing around on the pavement. Kids running around above us at 4.30 in the morning and through main courtyard. Currently sounds like a dryer struggling and squeaking away.

The room was quite good, very clean and the staff were friendly & helpful. The room was warm and the bedding was very comfortable. Only 5 minutes from the centre of the city and very easy to access. There are plenty of places to eat close by as well.

This place is a little strange. Not sure if I like it or not. Family room - spacious and has what you need without luxury Car parking free. Bit tight but convenient. Location - pros: coles across the road. Restuarants around outside of building - Vietnamese, Japanese, Thai, Chinese. Italian and burgers down the road. Shops around. Walk down backstreet...

We chose the Mayfair Plaza on Sandy Bay Road, for 2 primary reasons - proximity to Salamanca Market and Battery Point and because of existing reviews. We wanted to stay outside the Hobart CBD and Sandy Bay seemed a suitable location. We were not disappointed. On arrival the airport shuttle bus dropped us off close to Mayfair Plaza in the...
