We stayed only one night, sadly. Wonderful hosts, convenient location to walk to great range of eateries. The breakfast was the best contintental breakfast we have encounted. Lovely old historic building adds to the experience.

My travel agent booked this and I had no idea what I was getting into. I was there in Nov 2016 and the place was setup for Christmas. The hosts were amazing and welcomed me and showed me around the very beautiful inn. The host was very accommodating to me as I was getting up very early and he set...

We based ourselves for 5 nights in Hobart to see the surrounding area and this was the prefect place to say. Walking into the city and to the water and easy access to find our way out in the car. Old style accommodation, very clean and comfortable, very nice common room for a port in the evening. Great breakfast with...

My partner and I stayed two nights when we arrived in Hobart and a night at the end of our trip. What lovely hosts Jeff and Julie were, making the stay one of the highlights of our trip. They look after their lodge and their guests with the same care and attention. We had a lovely comfortable room with a...

A very nice place to stay with helpful, friendly and knowledgable hosts. The rooms are not huge but are characterful, well equipped and ours had a spa bath. Breakfasts are buffets and are excellent, with loads of items on offer. One thing which might be helpful; the Lodge is on a main road and if your sleep is affected by...

Lodge on Elizabeth is hosted by Jeff and Julie and is a comfortable B&B, within walking distance of the Hobart CBD. Jeff not only welcomed us at 10 pm after flying in from Sydney, but he provided excellent guidance on where to go in Hobart, nearby restaurants to try, directions on how to get to the MONA ferry terminal, and...

We booked The Lodge on Elizabeth last minute online without talking to anybody about our late arrival time or our early departure the next day. We got there late, rang the after hours bell and Jeff checked us in and got us settled in our room. Jeff was sensational. We were travelling with a 10 year old child, and while...

The Lodge of Elisabeth is warm and welcoming, our hosts Jeff and Julie, made us feel as if we were quests in their home, rather than staying in a hotel atmosphere. We had a twin room, which was lovely for my sister and myself and it was tastefully decorated to fit into the period of the home. Breakfast was lovely...

This B&B deserves every bit of its 'outstanding' reviews. The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and professional - going above and beyond to make our stay special. Beautiful old house with an amazing breakfast. Loved the lounge with free tea and coffee, plus marshmallows, biscuits and port! 15 min walk into the city was fine as it's worth it...

Well, were do I start with all the good things about this place? With the great historic building, the small, but well appointed rooms, the lovely garden, the walking distance to the main shopping area and Hobart's waterfront, the ever shorter walking distance a large range of restaurants, the lounge room with tea, coffee, port and sweets or all the...
