I decided to stay at this hotel after reading other TripAdvisor reviews. I found it to be a good quality hotel that provided value for money. The room was a good size, the staff pleasant and it was within a ten minute walk to the Constitution Dock. The hotel is situated at the intersection of some major roads but as...

A quick trip to Hobart had me book the Fountainside Hotel -after checking a bunch of hotels and reviews. The Fountainside came up above average, and the price was very reasonable. Easy choice; we ended up being very pleased with our pick. Located 20 minutes from the airport, the hotel is well positioned for all that Hobart has to offer....

This hotel although not flashy to look at, is rated 4-5 stars. Although I can see that traffic can be an issue, we were on the 4th floor and looked out to the road. We heard some ambulances the first day but otherwise no issue. The window is well insulated anyway. As for the rest, the room is large, tv...

Friendly staff. Very close to salamanca market and battery point. Also close to airport. The minibar is at good value. The car park is a bit too small and seem it couldn't accommodate all customers during peak seasons. The bath room design is a bit strange where the shower water will splash out. Overall is great.

I can't understand the positive reviews of this hotel. This is the first time that Tripadvisor has let me down. I barely slept a wink all night because the traffic noise was so loud. I was on the first floor so whether this makes a difference I don't know but I booked months in advance for a weeknight and put...

This hotel was basic but totally adequate. No bells and whistles but everything we needed for our short stay. It was also perfectly clean, well located and had the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever come across in a hotel. The in room mini bar was great value. No over the top prices, which meant we were happy...

Stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The building has been fully renovated so its fresh, roomy and functional. Its well above average in standard. Rooms are very clean. Overall, its very good and I would recommend to friends/family. Free parking is appreciated. Evening meals from a fairly basic menu are cooked perfectly and the drinks are charged at very reasonable...

we were two couples who chose a hotel which was reasonable central within Hobart and yet offered apparent value for money. We were not disappointed. The rooms were large and well appointed and our only complaint was that the free internet access was not able to be properly accessed by all our Apple devices. Otherwise everything was very good and...

We stayed here for a week from the 15th to the 21st of February and it is the second time we have stay there. Once again, we were not disappointed and this hotel would have to be one of the best value for money hotels you could choose. I travel a lot on business interstate and stay at a lot...

Stayed very recently at this hotel and mostly it mirrored the majority of reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed at the accommodation - king bed was very comfy - appointments first class. (The heated loo seat with 'extras' was different). The toiletries were top shelf if a little sparse - always nice to find something a little out...
