Only stayed 2 nights at the Fountainside but it did the trick. Walking distance to the dock where there are great bars and restaurants or a bit further to Salamanca Square. The view from the room was amazing looking out over University Rose Gardens with changing autumn leaves and the beautifully night lit fountain. At one stage I even felt...

We stayed in this hotel from May 9 - May 14. The staff were really nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is great as it's walking distance to Salamanca Market, restaurants and mall. If you returned to the hotel late from your tours and you just bought some food from the grocery, the staff are very much accommodating...

About 25 minutes bus-ride from airport. Airport shuttles dropped and picked up passengers at hotel front. Spent 3 nights in hotel and found hotel comfortable and location convenient. Just 10 mins walk to the pier where good food is aplenty, near Salamanca Market, shopping belt, etc. Hotel provides value-for-money breakfast and dinner and has friendly and helpful staff.

Recently stayed at Fountainside Hotel. What a great experience! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The Hotel is within walking distance of the harbour. The room was clean with everything you need. Mini bar very well priced. Breakfast was great and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Will go back anytime!

Had a great time at Fountain Hotel. The room was good, clean and was heated. Kettle, coffee and tea suppled and had fridge and safe. Restaurant was downstairs and food was good. Staff were very good and friendly. Suggest they have queen size beds for couples and not 2 twin size beds close together.

The room is in such great value. With well equipped bathroom, large and comfy bed, free parking and great location, the room is charged at such cheap rate. The staff are really friendly. The only problem I had is with the wifi, as it has to re-enter the password once you stop using for a while which can be a...

We stayed here for the first two nights of our tour of Tasmania. Whilst we were not overly impressed with the appearance of the outside of the building, which is more of a motel rather than a hotel, we had a very warm welcome from the staff on reception. Our room on the top floor had good views, was large...
