Great apartment with fantastic location. As some people have commented it is noisy on Friday and Saturday nights (I stayed Friday through to Monday) If you don't like noise, don't stay here over a weekend. Apart from that, the rooms are fantastic well appointed, no aircon but there is a fan. It is an apartment so no hotel services however... More

Great room lots of space. Washer and dryer perfect. Location location location! It's right in the heart of Salamanca easy walking distance to everywhere. There is lots of parking too if u hire a car but keep in mind u cannot park there on Friday nights or Saturdays due to the markets! Clean, well kept. Would stay again! Loved it!

I found the staff very welcoming in the Zum cafe next door. I checked in and went up to my room, 'Watermans'. The suite was lovely and clean, well appointed, nice kitchen, lovely bathroom with a nice deep bath. A comfy lounge and the bed was very soft and warm. It did get a little noisy at night, but that... If you are tired of the same old style of hotel room, then you will love the Quarry Salamanca. This innovative and renovated 'loft' includes a dream bathroom ideal for couples on a romantic weekend .... very open! The view from our room—"New Wharf"—was beautiful including the street, trees and harbour. You walk straight down the stairs and you are... More

Stayed here for one night to get ready for a hens party and have a central location to return to. Super easy check in with friendly staff, when we mentioned our reason for staying we were offered a late checkout which was much appreciated. The room was well appointed and had everything we needed. Downside heaps of internal noise. The... More

We stayed for a long weekend at the Quarry Salamanca. You could not get more central in Hobart and we walked everywhere as we didn't have a car. It is a little noisy at night but it really didn't bother us, waking up to the Markets being on your doorstep was fabulous. The food at the cafe with included breakfast... More

We selected Quarry due to the location right on Salamanca Place and we weren't disappointed. We were in the front facing Waterman room. There was some noise from the bar below but it was not excessive. There was also noise on the Saturday morning due to the market being set up. I would recommend a front facing room higher up... Stayed here for a long weekend back in June. The location is the reason why you stay here. You are close to the markets, theres plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and pubs at your door step and if you are heading off to Mona, you are a 3 minute walk from the boat. The rooms show off the original brick work... More

As mentioned in prior reviews this apartment is very nice, modern and clean. We stayed in the 'Market' room, which is front facing on the top floor, there is a view of the park but cant really see the harbour. Upon arrival you check in at the cafe called 'Zum' and then walk next door and access the apartments with... More
