There are 2 cabins only. Ours had wonderful views of the river from the expansive deck. It is well located for wineries such as nearby Holm Oaks. Unfortunately the neighbour’s rooster disturbed my sleep (3am!). Breakfast provisions were good except that supermarket bread was supplied (not homemade as advertised).

A friend and I spent two nights in the River View cottage and found it so beautiful that we wished we had booked a longer stay. The view of the river is stunning and the surrounding gardens are gorgeous. Woke each morning to the sound of birds and saw lots of cute rabbits - even spied a seal swimming in...

We booked the "Riverview Cottage", we've been travelling around already for 3 weeks, eating in restaurants, we wanted to chill and have a home cooked meal. Perfect, full kitchen, private, incredible view, Wi-Fi, bbq and good location to explore the area. The cabin is well equipped with lots of extra's, a perfect retreat. Our hosts filled the kitchen with breakfast...

Delightful B&B Accommodation with views overlooking the Tamar River. Breakfast hamper provided saved us having to find last minute provisions and recommendations on where to go for a vineyard restaurant lunch (Velo) then a drive up to Beaconsfield and Beauty Point saved us having to do our own research. Thank you Ian for your hospitality.

Clean and neat cottage with a fabulous view! Free wifi, washing machine and full kitchen. Lovely little walk to Bonnie Beach. Loved the electric blanket and heater in the bedroom. Great location for exploring the Tamar Valley.

We booked the River View Cottage and we must admit it was the highlight of our Tassie Motoring Visit. The Cottage was very well equipped, everything had been thought of, and to sit back and relax with a Tassie wine in hand and savour the view was very special. Excellent hospitality and the hosts were only too happy to share...

We stayed in Cherry Cottage for three nights in the middle of a trip around Tasmania. The cottage is very comfortable and spacious for two people and in a perfect location for touring the Tamar Valley wineries. The cottage is well equipped (laundry, oven, bbq, wifi) which was great after a week spent camping. The hosts were very friendly and...

Stayed here for three nights in November 2013. The cabin was great, having a breathtaking view of the river, a lounge suite and a dining table. The kitchen was clean and eggs, milk and cereal were provided along with some interesting herbal teas. We cooked a barbecue one night overlooking the river. The main house and the other cabin are...

If you are looking for a cozy countywide lifestyle accommodation with magnificent river view, this is a place to go. It is located just a bit away from the main road of Tamar river. North, along west side the river bank from the batman bridge. Away from the road means quiet and peaceful, away from car noises to enjoy the...

Rented a cottage here for a few days for sightseeing in / around Launceston.. Kyena is a delightful spot, and the cottage at Tamar River Retreat was a treat: nicely furnished, all mod cons (except internet - this could be important) and lovely views from the gardens and the cottage balcony. Nice touch to provide breakfast as well (avoids the...
