We stayed here for a stop over between Alice Springs and Adelaide. The host was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The bunk beds mattresses were extremely comfortable however the double bed one was pretty springing and you made the other person moved when you moved. Overall a very good stay and we would stay again.

This is the first time for me a motel that is submerged into the side of a hill. With just 9 rooms it is both intimate and therefor quiet. The first thing that struck me was on arrival the Manager and due to its size the everything person was very polite and accomodating to our needs. Nothing was to much...

Stayed whilst on a tour and was a little apprehensive at first but it was just beautiful and would stay again. The room was fascinating as was the whole motel and the owners just superb - nothing was too much trouble.

We've stayed at the Coober Pedy Underground Motel several times and cannot fault the rooms or the service. It's welcoming and friendly, the rooms are well furnished and spotlessly clean and the guest kitchen (and DIY included breakfast) is clean and well equipped.

Arrived after a 9 hour drive, only to find they made our reservation for the following night... There fault, as we confirmed not that long ago!!! Had to settle for a really poor hotel in the middle of town, as everything else was fully booked. "Oh, sorry bout that" was the response.. Two very unhappy families..

This was our last stop on the way home from a long trip so needless to say I was a bit tired and cranky by this stage. The place looks really cool and I was excited for what I assumed would finally be a warm comfy and good nights rest. We arrived 30-40 minutes after check in approx. 2:40pm to...

This was the last of about 15 phone calls and 15 rejections. To tell you the truth; we didn't know what to expect. We found an absolute gem! The rooms are small but beautifully appointed. We had an ensuite and kitchenette. There is a beautifully appointed communal kitchen just done the hall. Our nights stay included a continental breakfast. Highly...
