For me, this place ticks all the boxes. It's perfectly located in a quiet area but minutes to everything in town. It's got an exceptional view on the desert. The underground apartment is vast, clean, comfy and well equipped. Linda and Tony are very friendly, helpful and a mine of information (sorry, I could not resist). I recommend to anyone.

Good place, friendly and helpful hosts, comfortable and well appointed, good no-fuss wi-fi so we had happy teens, well located, could walk up on roof to see speccy sunsets (or sunrises if one got up at such ungodly hours). We enjoyed our stay.

A great place for families : lots of space, confortable beds, and a swimming pool ! Very typical : you are staying in a dry cave. No humidity at all ! Because it's a cave, there is no air conditioning which is ok, if your kids don't let the door open ! :-)

I booked here for two nights and was given room 2, a huge 3 bedroom apartment. Very comfortable and well equipped, especially the kitchen. It is built into rock and so you have the unusual underground experience, no windows of course, except for the one next to the door. There is no air-con because it never gets all that hot,...

We stayed here overnight on the way to and back from Uluru. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable on the local opal mining attractions plus eateries. Staying in the underground dugouts is a great experience and both of the apartments we stayed in were well equipped and very clean - one was ready for a revamp though. The position...

My husband and I stayed for the night to break up our trip between Uluru and Adelaide. The rooms were clean, large, cool and self contained. There is also the opportunity to catch the wonderful sunsets from the roof. The owners of the property are extremely helpful and friendly. The property provides an authentic underground experience. If you don't wish...

Great location, marvellous views of the Breakaways and desert region. The apartment was roomy, quiet and well equipped. The rooms were neat and tidy, service was excellent. Hosts Tony and Linda were wonderful and nothing was too much for them.

Our family stayed in this apartments - underground hotel and we absolutely loved it. Tony and his family were great help and our kids loved it there. Apartments are so big, you feel like to live in the house. It's a great spot, beautiful views from the top of the hill when you walk on top the apartments and afternoon...

We arrived some 30 minutes early and Linda let us check in ok,she gave us a few recommendations for where to visit and to eat which was good of her.Apartment 11 we had was very large and well equipped but some of the rooms had holes in the plaster work and were a little bit dingy, some brighter lights would help.
