From the moment we arrived the owners went out of their way to accomodate us, extra parking for our trailer and very friendly helpful service. Great recommendations on things to see around town with our three children. Our room was larger than we thought and had plenty of space for the five of us.

Decided to spend a couple of nights underground. Different to say the least. Room was reasonable in size and clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was smallish and shower curtain struggled to contain the water. Reception/owners were friendly and helpful. It is quite expensive, but enjoyed the experience.

Great hotel with extremely friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Nice, very clean rooms. Privet parking spot in the front of the hotel, possibility to do you laundry. We loved the garden outside, sat down on the grass in the sun! Thank you for the awesome experience guys!

Amazing place with friendly staff, Anyone who reads this! - ask for an impromptu tour of the hotel! The mines they found while constructing the hotel and the stories that go with them make for an experience that is more interesting and authentic than anything in town - and it's free!

What an awesome place to stay, we had a great time in Coober Pedy and this accommodation was excellent. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The rooms were great for our family, spacious enough and in a convenient location. Would absolutely come back to stay here again if we returned for another visit.

My husband and I stayed here for one night and were pleasantly surprised. The staff here were wonderful; offering an ad hoc tour of the underground motel and their ongoing renovations, even letting us search through dirt in the renovations for any opals! The rooms were comfortable and clean and we had a great sleep; the lack of windows was... More

This place is AMAZING! Family run and from the minute we walked in we were welcomed and made feel like we owned the place. It was just beautiful to walk around exploring and feeling like you belong, like you were at home! It is so exciting to see/read everything around the hotel and weird knowing you are underground. It is... More

First impressions, such as the culture shock of no phone reception in the rooms, and limited wifi : due to the underground aspect, and furniture that made me feel like I was actually in an era before mobile phones, I did grow to appreciate a number of things. Mostly, the hospitality was great. Cheery and helpful staff, the rooms were... More
