5 night stay in October , Beach Club was amazing , a boutique hotel with only around 60 rooms , location , staff and accommodation exceeded expectations . From the moment we were collected at the airport until the time we left everything was perfect...More
We really wanted to splurge for our honeymoon and this was the MOST amazing place. The breakfast included was one of the best I have ever had and every day was stunning. The rooms were beautiful and adults only made it really peaceful and romantic....More
I managed a trip to Hamilton in late October to the Beach Club, although arrival into Hamilton Island airport was a little disorganised and not well sign posted as to where to meet "Beach Club" staff for the transfer to the "Beach Club" other guests...More
My partner and I stayed at the Beach Club for five nights around the middle of November. This has been the best holiday experience I have ever had.

This was our second trip to Hamilton Island having previously stayed at the Reef View Hotel. Decided to stay here mainly because it’s child free. We had a room on the second floor but there is no lift so if you have mobility issues, I...More

Thank you Colemann 22 and Steve P. I have just tried to request the room we want, have gone ground floor due to stairs and a bad knee, BUT they dont allocate rooms until the day before you arrive, which means we wont know what we are getting until we arrive. Never come across such a situation in all our years of traveling, and now not sure what to do. We are actually considering cancelling.

Hello I was on Hayman Island when the cyclone hit. I consider myself lucky to be alive, thanks to all the staff at The One and Only resort. I did stay at the Beachclub a couple of days prior to the cyclone. The whole of the Whitsundays have sustained considerable damage. Most of the lush tropical vegetation was flattened I saw Hamilton Island on the Thursday post cyclone and it was greatly effected.
The Staff at the Beachclub will no dought look after you as they are wonderful but will you get a tropical holiday experience that includes all the lovely fauna and flora I am not so sure.
In my opinion It will take a year or so to be back to it's fabulous state.
Possibly the water sports have been effected if the resort lost sails to their catamarans etc, it may be worth asking the resort what's not up and running.
There is also the possibility that the outer reef platoon has also been damaged, as no visit to the wonderful Barrier Reef should be missed, I would also ask the resort if visits to the outer reef and snorkelling are still available.
Hope this helps.
