Good hotel with good amenities

We stayed here for 4 days 3 nights over the weekend. There is a good range of facilities including the gym, the pool, a few restaurants and the onsite beauty/massage spa. The pool was quite quiet on the weekday with more people on the weekend. It was nice and relaxing to sit around the pool. Staff were friendly and accommodating. They helped with food recommendations, luggage storage and cab booking services. Room was nice and clean with daily housekeeping. It is only a 5 minutes walk to Sealink where you can take the ferry to Magnetic Island and 20 minutes walk to Coles. Much easier to hire a cab if you want to go into Town.…

Excellent food and service

We came here for a function. The food was delicious and service was absolutely spectacular. Livinia in particular went out of her way and the night overall was amazing. Would definitely return in future.

Another great stay in Townsville

In Townsville for Jimmy Barnes. Two very pleasant nights in an Executive Room overlooking the pool and Magnetic Island. Comfy bed, nice bathroom ( but why only one soap?!), pleasant staff, good breakfast buffet. Excellent location for events at the Entertainment Centre.

Memorable

A stay at the Ville Resort is likely to be memorable. The stay of 3 days in an ocean facing suite overlooking the boats at anchor and with a view to Magnetic Island was ideal. The hotel accommodation is very comfortable with a beautiful king size bed and a huge bathroom with modern shower and bath. The accommodation is clean, well maintained and set up to ensure your stay is memorable. Staff are efficient, well trained and quick to respond to any request. Newspapers are provided as part of the service - a nice touch. A point of difference between a 4 and 5 rating would be staff who are friendly and welcoming. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend a stay at the Ville.…

Expensive needs to deliver more

Hotel is very nice the room I had was very good. One fault was having no water I. The room it’s ok to expect people to purchase a good water bottle $9 however you should provide a water cooler on each floor I had to go to reception to fill it up with just tap water in there glass jug it was warm really not acceptable considering Townsville’s weather. Casino was good however the dress standard was well below average walking around in thongs after 6pm made it feel like a country pub. Yes good place better than most very expensive on weekends during the nrl season. For the money I do expect at least smiling to greet me.…

If I want a room on a high floor, should I choose a resort room or executive room?

Hi BreezaOZ - Resort Rooms have great views out to the ocean or the marina and Castle Hill depending on what side of the hotel you're on, but Executive Rooms are on higher floors than Resort Rooms so your view will be slightly better up there.

Good Afternoon ShereeH08, All of our suites have balconies and all suites have been refurbished. Our most recent refurbishment was April 2016 which was our Resort level. We have a number of images of the various suites on our website if you would like to have a look. Regarding the $1 Breakfast promotion, unfortunately this finishes on the 30th April.
