Looked newly renovated and clean. The price was pretty good but the room was small. Slept well. Ok for an overnight stay. Would chose an upstairs room next time as we could hear bathroom activities from the downstairs room.

Had a one night stay in June, booked two rooms. Friendly service, very clean and sensibly renovated rooms. Good value for money. If you want flash and 5 star, this is not the place. If you want reasonable accommodation, close to town, this is the place.

We were being chased south by cyclone ITA in April and took refuge here on Easter Sunday, what a lovely proprietor met us. Had a lovely comfortable room, beautifully clean. Although the town was in "lock down" due to the public holiday he managed to point us to a lovely fish restaurant which was nearby and it turned out it...

Two of us spent one night here on a business trip. it was exceptionally clean, tidy and convenient. breakfast menus were provided in the folder inside the room, but in fact you could not get breakfast at the hotel. there are plenty of options close by, but why leave the menus there??? The hotel is quiet, but there was some...

A small room felt a little short in desk/tabletop space but otherwise fine. Clean and presentable and nice people. Slept ok. Not expensive - good place for an overnight stop. No restaurant but good food available close by.

Citywalk is set in a downtown area of the old CBD and is within walking distance of Eating, Shops and the Riverfront. The rooms are on two floors with outside steps to reach the upper level set on 2 sides of a large parking area. It is functional rather than pleasing to the eye. Our upstairs rooms were however large,...

Great place, very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean, fresh and comfortable. Comfortable bed, clean linen, comfy pillows, clean bathroom. There were 3 of us in the one room and it did not feel cramped, we were all comfortable. Would highly recommend this place!

Stayed a night when we were moving from Sunshine Coast to Mackay. Could not have picked a nicer place to stay. Off the main highway, close to restaurants and shops. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a treat. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Yes, we will stay here again!

I had a comfy night at the Citywalk Motor Inn. It is about 500 metres to the centre of town and there is a pub and a service station (with convenience food and drinks) both within 200 metres. I had a continental breakfast dropped off in the evening for the next morning. There was an issue with milk freshness and...

We stayed 2 nights as we explored the area. Cannot fault Jason the owner for friendliness and very helpful with advice. Our upstairs room was clean and tidy but compact. Workmen are doing alterations to the business and start very early in the morning.Excellent price at $99 per night.
