The positives: - Hard mattresses and soft pillows which I like - Had basics like tea, coffee, fridge etc - Although on a main road, our room was quiet. - Clean and well kept, although fairly tired. The not-so positives: - bathroom is in dire need of renovation - although it may have been spotless, the dated tiles, toilet, shower...

The second portion of a driving odyssey from Cairns to Brisbane saw the kids and I set off from Airlie Beach for Rockhampton, and thereby endure the formidable Mackay-Rocky leg. The bustling cattle town of Rockhampton seems like the shimmering mirage in the distance during this mind-numbing drive. We staggered out of the car and sought refuge at Centrepoint Motor...

This is the second time we have overnighted at this motor inn. Always pleasant staff, clean rooms and quiet. There is a guest laundry and restaurant. Close to Rockhampton leagues club where they have a great restaurant and cold beer.

The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean but basic. The bed was probably the hardest and oldest that I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping on, and because of the main road location it was quite noisy at night. Parking was fine because it was not a busy time, but could be an issue if it was busier....

I stopped in here on my road trip from Cairns to Melbourne. I was greeted by a lovely lady who chatted with me which was lovely after a long day travelling on my own. The room was clean and comfortable with a decent size TV.. I ordered dinner from the restaurant to my room, it was a beautiful meal, I...

This motel was good value for the price. The rooms are quiet and big enough. The staff are super friendly. The beds are a little hard but still not a terrible stay for what you pay. Located in an excellent position close to cafes and service stations if you're not after anything fancy this is the place for you.

The friendly staff were all that saved me from giving this 2 stars. My room was very tired and needs refurbishing, though the bathroom appears to have been recently redone and was very clean and fresh. Parking is very tight and not allocated so it's first in first served and if you need to get out when the car park...

I have travelled to Rockhampton over a dozen times in the last two years for Business and have consistently been very satisfied with the cleanliness, good food, professionalism and helpfulness of all staff, in particularly Ken where nothing is too much bother and he always makes you feel welcome. On three occasions I had to use other places as Centrepoint...

Just by chance needed overnight in Rocky whilst traveling by car with daughter from Townsville to Brisbane. Room was average size with new fittings in bathroom. Aircon was a bit dated but done the job. Was given a small discount and room costed out at $115 with free internet (no restrictions). I accidentally left my medication and spare phone behind...

Run of the mill motel. Clean, but rooms need modernising. Beds are not overly comfortable and couches seriously need replacing; they sag and offer no support or any level of comfort. Breakfast is very basic, but as the motel is located on a main road there are other options within walking distance. Very poor value for money. A pool is...
