Recently stayed at Hibiscus Gardens for a week, accommodation was great, beds very comfortable. Breakfast was supplied as past of our package and was delicious and fresh and the hostess was very welcoming. Short walk to town, marina and the beach Definitely stay again

We just completed our second stay at this fabulous resort and loved it just as much as the first. Beautiful tropical surroundings and just a short walk to everything! 5 minutes in one direction takes you to the main street, 5 minutes in another gets you to 4 mile beach and 5 minutes the opposite way gets you to the...

This place could be so much better. It is looking very tired. The Bali decore is from the 1980s and doesn't look like it been touched since. the tiles around the pool are wearing and chipped, the decking around the property could do with a lick of paint. The massive Hibuscus perched on the front wall of the property has...

Recently returned from a 10 day stay at the Hibiscus resort and loved it, It was like going to Bali in Australia. Bali decorations and tropical gardens, friendly staff good service. Reasnobly priced suitable for older couples and families.

We stayed four nights at this resort. Beautiful tropical surroundings, great location walking distance into town. Friendly staff. Spa treatments available. Beautiful four mile beach, river cruise and day trips. Will definitely go back.

Was quite comfortable, but the room had not been properly cleaned. Purchased our stay via a group purchase site. The terms and conditions did not mention that the room would not be serviced. When queried, was told that would cost $25 per day, not the type of service you'd expect from a 4.5 star rating. Location, brilliant, short walk to...

Hotel is very close to all shops and restaurants . Nice enough, but very dated. First room we got on the ground level, was dark and had a strong musty smell, I started coughing and and sneezing, they changed us to third floor, it was better, but definitely not luxury accomodation . For five days we stayed there towels were...

Although almost in the center of Port Douglas, the resort is quiet and serene with Balinese touches of architecture. The accommodation was very spacious and well appointed even with its own kitchen and microwave. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are two pools with sun lounges. Breakfast is served around the main pool area with a limited number...

We stayed for five days and found Hibiscus to suit our purposes well enough. The location cannot be faulted as it is a (very) short walk to the beach, marina and main shops. Staff were very friendly and full of genuinely helpful tips about the local sights and activities. Breakfast was basic but fresh, tasty and they had an espresso...

My Mum and I made a sporadic decision to stay a night in Port Douglas at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon. We came across this beautiful place just by driving around the area and were drawn to the Balinese style buildings and the lovely pool/landscape of the outdoor area. We were warmly greeted by the lovely Jay who was not...
