Stayed at the Peninsula Boutique Hotel for 6 nights at the end of November 16. We had a great time here and found the rooms here comfortable and well equipped. The staff were all very pleasant and the whole place is run efficiently by Sheryn (sorry if the spelling is wrong). The breakfast which we had included was plentiful and... More

Enjoyed this hotel very much. Lovely staff who were all friendly and helpful. Clean and well maintained. Location right opposite beach was absolutely fabulous! Not absolute luxury but simply delightful and would return here because it is small and friendly with a personal touch.

Could not recommend this hotel. If it cost about half the price it would be ok. Unfriendly staff, dreadful breakfasts, weird pool with next to no beds poolside. Location was great but the service, not great. Be aware if you think you have airport transfers, double check. They will get you to the hotel but not back to the airport,... More

From the UK, we have just had a great 10 day staying in the Peninsula Boutique Hotel. This was recommended to us by friends who stayed here last year. The location was perfect, right in front of the beach and yet also just at the bottom of the road that leads to loads of restaurants, shops, bars etc. We had... More

We spent 5 nights here in November and had a wonderful stay. The room was good, with a front room / kitchenette and a bedroom with bathroom separated by a moving wooden screen. The swimming pool area was great, with different levels, a main pool and a hot tub. The hotel also organised all our trips, taking the stress out... More

Just spent 4 nights at the Peninsula. Well situated for the beach, town and marina. Ideal place to base ourselves. Useful laundry facilities. Rooms comfortable and clean. Only slight issue is the louvre doors separating the bedroom and bathroom, leaving little or nothing to the imagination. Breakfast choice could have been better. Would be happy to return.

A terrific place to chill, this is a lovely hotel in a wonderful location - a short hop over to the beach and a brief stroll to Port Douglas high street. It can be hot and steamy but you are cool as you like in the spacious, contemporary styled rooms. The air conditioning works a treat, as does the modern... More

This hotel has the best location in Port Douglas, a stones throw from 4 mile beach, and a very short walk to all the shops and restaurants in the town centre. The pool area is a good size, and there are plenty of loungers and good supply of beach towels. The ocean view room was spacious and well equipped, with... More

Wow! That’s some serious feedback and we would like to explain things from our side and some of your comments are extremely unfair. You did call our hotel around 7am in the morning and the receptionist at the time had to wait to receive the email from Booking.com as it still wasn’t received at our end. It was explained at... We LOVED our five night stay at the Peninsula, from the moment we were greeted by Sheryn with cold towels and chilled water to the time we left. Our room overlooking the pool was perfect for our stay. It was comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. There are lots of little details and extras which make this hotel... More
