Quiet location, right by the sea. Very family orientated with lots of free hire for the beach and the pool. The girls are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble Super clean and comfortable. We love it there and hope to be back in the future for a third visit.:)

We were looking for somewhere beach side to stay with our Australian family including a toddler and this came heavily recommended, and proved to be a great choice. We stayed in the "Jelly Bean" house, almost literally on the beach. The house worked very well for four adults and a toddler, apart from there being no way to stop her...

My second trip to Port D and a stay with the girls at By the Sea. When you're a solo traveller, having a nice room without a supplement, and being treated as a valuable guest make for a better holiday. The girls can't do enough to help out. And, as they did last year, booked things for me and put...

Very helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms, great facilities from the pool with free pool toys, free pushbikes, movies, games etc. to the bbq, laundry facilities in room. Very quiet. Great location at the beach, and a short stroll along the main street to the shops and eateries. We loved the beach decorating feel and quirky little ornaments and garden...

This is a place that treats their guests like family, the rooms make you feel like you are in a holiday home and not a hotel. They offer heaps of freebies to ensure your holiday is that much more special. Located in the heart of Port and next to the beach, it's a must stay when in Port Douglas.
