Lovely hotel. Spacious twin room with large balcony and sea view. All facilities provided. Very nice pool area. Buffet style breakfast with good selection but watch out for birds who steal food off your plate as tables are outside. Felt that reception staff were in need of training. We experienced difficulty in trying to book Christmas dinner as the person...

The hotel is on the esplanade allowing you a pleasant walk. With many people strolling the esplanade it feels very safe. The hotel is walking distance to a variety of restaurants at many different price points. The room was clean and met all our needs. I would stay here again.

We booked this hotel through an online travel website and were frankly disappointed. The hotel had clearly seen better days, looking tired and in need of a make-over. This may well have been about to happen as our room - which felt like the furthest room from the lifts that we have ever experienced, almost needed a map to find...

Very Good Room with Balcony overlooking the pool and the coast line. Better staying at the Trade-wind - Rydges rather than the two more modern Rydges Hotel a block or two from the coast. This hotel closer to the coast, the Pier, local attractions etc. Maybe a little older, but very good. Breakfast @ $19.00 was very good.

My hubby and I booked in for a week at this hotel. On entering the hotel all was very nice, until we opened our door to our room it smelt so musty we nearly keeled over. The pillows were flat as pancakes and the mattresses are concave, we both rolled into the middle of the bed each night (that's ok...

Have travelled the world, so being a local I was disgusted and embarrassed to know such poor service is given to guests in this hotel. On arrival front desk service was appalling and young man didn't want to help me with my bags unless I had paid a porter fee. What a joke. Checking out was even worse service again...

Don't waste your money-3 Star, Mouldy Building, Outdated rooms/hotel, Rude Male argumentative Duty Manager name Joel. Most other Staff are helpful and friendly. Booked rooms are given away freely leaving you with no accommodation, so you have to pack up and find alternative accommodation at short notice. Place is getting demolished next month, though they are screwing every cent out...
