A couple of questions - Are there any suites (like the junior suites w water view) with TWO beds available? - If I'm not into gambling, and am looking more for a luxury getaway, would you still recommend Pullmans?What else would there be to do, besides gaming? Thanks!

About half the rooms have water views ( the others look over the city and mountains ) - don’t know about rooms with 2 beds - its very central to both the city and the water - especially the docks for the reef and fishing tours

I noticed on a previous posted question, the regular rooms have standard security safes- is that correct? If so, can you please advise if ALL of the rooms have in-room safes and what are the inside measurements of the safes please? Is there an extra daily charge for use of safe in room? Needing reply soon, as looking to complete upcoming Cairns accommodations soon. Thank you in advance.

Our room had a safe and there was no extra barge for this. I do not know whether all rooms have safe or not.

We didn't use the mini bar, sorry, however the bar at the Pullman and in the casino are very good.

Perfect visit

I just got back from a weeks stay at the Pullman reef. What a fantastic place this is! Our room was perfect, very spacious, nice balcony and a spa bath. The rooms were cleaned everyday and room service was available at all times. The hotel bar does a wide variety not different cocktails and there was live music every night. My only fault is I spent way to much in the casino. I will definitely be coming back.…

We live locally but enjoy a date night out every once in awhile. We have a favourite hotel/restaurant in Cairns but decided to try something new. We had a lovely room facing the water. The room was clean and beautiful. We loved the plantation shutters and the layout of the room. The staff were very professional and friendly. We stayed here for a long weekend and we cannot fault our stay. The staff were beyond helpful for anything and everything, the app to order room service or contact reception was outstanding, the rooms were well sized and airy. The shower was amazing, so spacious it echoed. The bath was glorious, toiletries delightful. Any maintenance was addressed quickly and without fuss. A massive shout out to Matthew who really went above and beyond with helping to organize a trip to the outer reef. He is a credit to the hotel. Location was fantastic - far enough away from the hustle and bustle to make you feel in another world, despite being a 5 min walk from most things. We will definitely be returning.
