Fantastic location, you can walk to all the shops and cafes at New Farm, but it is extremely quiet. Great security, decorated beautifully. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is just lovely. The kitchen/breakfast room is at your disposal, so you serve yourself, with no one hovering over you. However the owner is close by in case you...

Edward Lodge is in a perfect location, not far from the ferry and close to the park, great for a bike ride along the water using those kept on the premises. The hospitality was wonderful and the interior is clean and classy.

Perfect place to stay when planning to stay in Brisbane. The host (Philip), has a welcoming and warmth attitude. Our accomodation has mini kitchen and lounge (a great space for 2 people) with an average cost during holidays. Wifi, a common kitchen with clean and cosy ambiance (were you can have you light breakfast), and bikes to use are available,...

I stayed here Christmas night to attend a Christmas lunch in New Farm. It`s a lovely old building with charm. But the best thing about it is its proximity to shops, cafes and restaurants around New Farm. The breakfast was adequate, no hot dishes, but everything you would need for a continental breakfast, which was included in the tariff of...

Excellent Accommodation Service. Close proximity to cafes, city, parks and public transport. The owner's made us feel welcome and it really is a unique place to experience. I have stayed twice and would not hesitate to stay again.

Close enough to inner Brisbane; the river; awesome food/fashion and public transport. Yet far enough so you are away from all the hustle and bustle. Pretty street and nice and quiet....thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will revisit.

We went to Brisbane to do some work and wanted to stay at Edward Lodge as we have stayed there before with the old owners, so after we had finished work and turned up to find very clean and updated rooms, we were very happy with what we got for our money. AAAAAA+

So low key we passed it twice in the taxi before noticing it but what a find! An old house lovingly converted into a relaxing place to stay. We were on the ground floor - no road noise even with the windows slightly ajar. Shuttered windows & a high wall ensure privacy and coolness in the afternoon. The rooms are...
