We only had one night, thankfully. On a positive note the beds were comfy and sheets appeared to be clean , we had our own bathroom and kitchen and it was airconditioned. Other than that, the room really needed a good clean. The shower curtain was mouldy, walls and windows filthy with splatters everywhere. The kitchen was very grubby. Even...

The 3 days we stayed here were great. Yes, the rooms are very basic and there are signs of wear and tear... but for the price, excellent. Bed linen and towels absolutely clean and crisp, bathroom fine, there is air conditioning, kitchen was adequate for cooking quick meals, our room was large and bright. The location is very good, walking...

Stayed here in November 2007 based on recommendation in Lonely Planet. Postiives: Room was very clean and large. Negatives: neighborhood a bit seedy, linens were clean but worn and threadbare, room was full of large moths, surroundings a bit noisy. All in all, not the best but passable.

The room is old but big. The bedding is very good ( Queen size). A large kitchen with cooking facilities can use. The location is very close to CBD. The price is not too bad for a large room.

The rooms are V-E-R-Y run down. The receptionist will not help you so get your information somewhere else. Great location.

we spent our last 6 nights in australia here and it was a bit of a let down, to say the least! their website showed nice bright rooms, but the one we were in was dark, dull and somewhat dingy, with paint flaking off the walls, dirty fridge and kitchen cupboards and badly marked carpets. wish we had inspected it...

I was looking for a cheap hotel in Brisbane city center. This one has good value. It is 5-10 minutes walk from the train station (behind train station, so not exactly in city center, but rather close), and the area was not noisy. There is a kitchen together with the room, with a microwave oven and fridge. The bathroom was...
