We could not Fault Danni and the team at hotel Urban. from our first visit, through to booking the venue, choosing meals it was all made very simple and like we were in great hands. Many of our guests and ourselves stayed at the venue for several nights, and we were all treated like VIP's. As for the reception itself,...

Nothing really wrong with the place. A 15-20 min walk from CBD. Decor / furnishings were fairly basic and sort of that modern-gone-wrong meets IKEA look. It was clean enough and fairly spacious (we had a 1 BR suite). Not 4.5 star.

Rooms are well styled, especially for a business stay. Bar & restaurant really welcoming, peaceful views even though it's on a main road. Food was well priced with a decent selection, beer was cold and a good variety to choose from. Urban also has gym and conference facilities, and is fitted out with a very retro style. Only negative was...

Very nice hotel, near parklands, short walk down the hill to King George Square makes it very convenient to shops and restaurants. Also easy access to train and buses. Lovely room, well maintained during my 3 x night stay, pool for those hot days and very friendly staff at reception. Did not use the restaurant but no problem getting ice...

I stayed at the Hotel Urban when I travelled to Brisbane for work. The room was comfortable and nice with a view of the parklands across the road. I ordered dinner and breakfast and the meals were very nice. Hotel staff were also helpful and friendly.

Hotel Urban is a very old property thats had an expensive facelift. They've gone for the funky urban hipster retro look but just havent quite managed to pull it off. The lobby is bright, mirrored and ostentatious. The bistro next door appeared to be quite popular. Location is within walking distance from both Roma Street Station and Brisbane City Hall...

Loved it. Stayed a weekend with our two children aged 6 and 7. Was a modest walk to everything, we easily walked from hotel to Queen St shops and across to Southbank. Great room with two double beds made it excellent value. Very friendly staff. Pool was great with nice lounging area and comfy outdoor furniture but do be advised...

Hi Sarah1717, Wonderful to read you enjoyed the stay with your family. The Hotel is very well suited for families with interconnecting rooms, twin rooms and 2 bedroom Suites available. Great advice regarding the pool as it is a rather deep pool, which many guests love, however keeping an eye on the kids is absolutely essential. Thank you for your...
