Bin in the common areas. Without lockers in the share rooms. They have a storage for your bags but you must pay extra. The crew wasn't friendly and no much cooperative. Ok bathrooms. Must pay extra for dishes.

I stayed at the hostel for 4 nights. It is ok for one night, but I would not suggest to stay longer. Staff is nice but is actually the only nice thing. Position not very central but can easily reach other part of the city walking.

The staff at reception were super friendly and helpful. That's about the only good thing i can say about this place. Oh, I didn't have to wait for the shower. That was nice. I stayed in a 9 bed female dorm on the first floor. The bed was uncomfortable and the railing steps were not secure. There was trash on...

I had two nights at the hostel. Good location in the middel of town. 20 min walk to Greyhound dropoff/pickup and harbour. Seems more like a resort. Pool with small houses around. Lived in a 8 room dorm. Generally good houses with fine facilities. Kitchen you had to rent equipment. Really slow Wifi and only in the lobby. It is...

The location is nice. Spacious outdoor terrace. I do realize how important staffs appearance is for me to feel comfortable. Specially if they work at the reception. It is not to much asked to be nice to guests. I bet if staff behind reception would change their attitude towards guests there would be better TripAdvisor reviews.

I love staying here every time I come to Brisbane. It's great value, clean, staff are great and I always get a great party and meet some great new people. The building is very old and has a great look to it, I noticed that there where a lot of renovations happening which will only make this place better. But...

I stayed at this hostel due to its great location, right near Central Station, but quickly regretted it. Lift was broken. Showers were broken and closed off. The other showers were broken - broken tap that fell off and dirty and looking straight into other bedrooms from the shower. Terrible lounge room. There is definitely better hostels around.

My boyfriend had been bitten by a spider a guy who worked in the bar next door think he was French? Helped us out so much went out of his way to get his doctors details for us...

I had a big single room with climatisation. Bed was good. It's a little bit noisy because of the localisation in the main street of airlie beach but very useful for all activities, transfers, and bars.

I've stayed in my fair share of hostels having travelled the world and this has to be one of the worst. I opted for a single room and it was disgusting. Brisbane was 38 degrees and the receptionist mentioned there is a fan in your room. Great! Or not! The fan was a constant loud clicking sound which was apparently...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nomads Brisbane has everything a backpacker could want, with our five floors offering a wide variety of rooms to appeal to everyone from the newly-arrived to the newly-wed, including dormitory and private rooms. All rooms are secured via electronic keycards, while you can keep your valuables doubly secured with our supplied lockers. Linen is also provided so there's no need to bring your sleeping bag! But that's not all. Our rooftop terrace is the place in the Brisbane CBD to catch some sun, chill out, have a BBQ or just watch the world go by while you wait for your laundry in one of our three laundry rooms. If the sun's not your thing then we also have common areas to kick back, relax, and get some quality tv time; that or cook up a feast in our guest kitchen! If you're looking for work, why not let our Job Club give you a nudge in the right direction? Likewise, our friendly travel desk staff don't just know everything about the beautiful South-East Queensland - they can give you advice about anywhere in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific! Downstairs the Down Under Bar is where you can go full on, flat out! Come on down to Brisbane's most famous backpacker bar where you can win great prizes, dance the night away, or even meet Mr/Mrs Right (or Mr/Mrs Right Now!). If you're after something a little quieter then our Zi Bar does great food and coffee, with regular functions to keep you entertained. Dormitories are available to genuine backpackers only.
