We stayed here for a week in a double room downstairs. The place is very clean, never had to wait to use a shower or a toilet. Kitchen area good - you can use hobs, microwave and BBQ to cook but no oven. Room had a sink, fridge and some cupboards in. Managers Wendy and Chris were great, chatty and...

The hostess was great and the room and facilities were clean and quiet. It sits just above CBD and we had an easy walk down to the water. We would definitely come back for the price and spend some more time in Brisbane.

Clean, tidy and at an affordable price. This place is situated 10 min walk to the city and 5 min walk to Woolworths, it's in a very convenient location. The lady (Wendy, I think her name is) is absolutely lovely and welcoming, as well as the German Sheppard, who seems very sweet. I was happy with my room and even...

Stayed here during a trip along the East Coast for one night. It was a bit quiet and we had the place pretty much to ourselves. There's a nice courtyard with a BBQ for guests and we made ourselves a nice meal with some wine and enjoyed the same again for breaky (minus the wine). The staff are very friendly...

Just wanted to let the world know about this place. Great budget accommodation within walking distance to Queen Street Mall. Friendliest hosts and dog diesel. Will be back again if travelling to Brisbane.

If you are in Brisbane for a night or two and on a tight budget, this is the place you like to go to. The location is great and within 15 minutes one reaches downtown. The rooms are clean and have everything you need only a bit small in size. I liked the kitchen and facilities to prepare some food...

My partner and I have recently stayed at the Kookaburra Inn for five nights during a month visit in Australia and we both agree it was our favourite place out of all we booked. It's well located just a ten minute or so walk from Eagle Street where you can then get the free city hopper boat to various places...

Kookaburra Inn is a good alternative for travellers who want to have something between a Hotel and a Hostel. It is just a short walk away from the city center, the owners are very nice and helpful and our room and shared bathroom facilities were clean.

My partner and I stayed here for a week in a double room. It was great, clean tidy, great shared kitchen facilities. Showers were clean and never had to queue for the bathroom. The shared bathroom and kitchen make it more of a hostel, but it has a more mature feel to it. Guests respect the communal areas. Very quiet,...
