Ideal place to stay between Alice Springs and Ayres Rock if intending to visit Kings Canyon. Lovely spot to view the sunrise and sunset with a drink or two. Staff very friendly and many different options for eating as well as a small supermarket if you are camping.

Kings canyon itself is worth the effort, it's different from Uluru and the rim walk is a thoroughly enjoyable day. A stay at the resort then is almost essential for at least one night. We stayed for two. It was ok, but to call it a resort is misleading - it's a campground with some comfortable chalets add in. The... More

As part of our Outback Experience we were booked into the Kings Canyon Resort for one night. The room was clean and comfortable, albeit a little distance from Reception and the bistro. Our tour guide organised our check in and check out, so we had no contact with the staff. The bistro was busy, but the wait for our food... More

Fantastic accommodation in a remote area which is very close to magnificent scenery at Kings Canyon and Kathleen springs. Set up of motel rooms and cleanliness could not be faulted. Food and drink services located just a short walk away. Fuel and food supplies also in same area.

Four of us stayed in a budget quad room for one night so we could walk the Rim the next day. It was very a reasonable price for one night for 4 people - warm and comfortable. Room 21 overlooks the Canyon in the distance and you can see the sun rise. The amenities block was very close. The Thirsty... More

Hostel accommodation is basic and pretty original with some recent improvements, ie AC & new TV to rooms. Staff are great. Pretty good for very remote location. Grounds are nice with trees and bird life etc. Dingo wandererd past our room in evening. Great sunset viewing Bar area is very relaxing. Nice feel to it.

We stayed two nights at Kings Canyon resort for the sole purpose of walking Kings Canyon though only really needed one night which was annoying considering price of rooms. Standard room was a good size with good size bathroom facilities. Car parking was quite a distance from the room which was an issue as we had a car fridge to... More

We stayed in one of the one bedroom budget rooms, which were a little dated but perfectly fine for us. It was certainly spacious, the bed was massive, there was a lounge with table & chairs, TV with unreliable reception (not really surprising given the location), large bathroom with decent enough shower etc, and fridge with tea/coffee making facilities. Rooms... More

We've stayed at King's Canyon Resort three times now, the first in one of the luxury spa rooms, and the last two times in a standard room. The luxury spa room was memorable. Wonderful, but more expensive than we needed to pay for just two of us on our subsequent visits. The standard rooms are fine - and spacious. Nice... More

We spent one night in this hotel on our way from alice springs to ayers rock. Environment is spectacular. Great sunset. Rooms ok, nothing special. Restaurant close to the hotel, basic but good quality meals and very friendly service.
