Desert Palms is lovely place to stay, we had a bungalow looking out on the golf course area. The rooms are ok for 2 people, 3 would probably be a bit crowded if you are staying a bit longer. We have stayed 2 nights and it was quiet, comfortable beds and all you need for a short stay. I found...

Do not stay! We booked for one night as we was only passing through! Woke up at 4 am to find a man at the end of the bed. He ran out and got away with a lot of our possessions. Staff said sorry but showed no interest or worry about the situation, we didn't feel safe and left at...

I have spoken to the manager re the theft from your room and she explained that she did her best to help, apologies profusely and offered the use of our phones to ring banks, family etc and the police attended. We do the best to make the Desert Palms a very safe place to stay with security fencing around the...

The rate quality/price is excellent. The bungalow has all you need (with a little terrace where you can breakfast). The Resort is so quite in the day and night. It has a swimming-pool. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is very nice, it does not seem, you are near the desert.

The house/room was very dated, but clean. The shower was dripping the whole time. The main lightning in the room and bathroom were TL tubes. Most of the guests at the complex were contractors. Therefor was perhaps the large guest laundry. The swimming-pool was set in a nice landscape and the staff was very friendly

Thank you for your review. It was nice to read you found our rooms clean and the staff friendly they all like to read comments like that. I was sorry to hear about the dripping tap, I am not sure if you notified reception but I are sure they would have organised to get it fixed if they had known....

I stayed at the Desert Palms resort and found it to be wonderful. The resort was well located near the casino and a pleasant walk into the city centre. My villa was clean and had everything I needed. I especially appreciated the kitchen facilities. The pool was great for cooling off on the hot days although I must admit it...

Stayed for a couple of nights in January, facilities here were great, however, the room itself was quite tired looking and could do with some decorating, other than that, can't complain! Didn;t get to use the pool facilities due to weather being unkind to us and raining for our entire stay!

We stayed here 2 nights rooms were clean and comfortable, felt very safe and secure. Kids loved swimming in the pool. BBQ area would be better closer to the pool area rather than down the back, we used our own as didn't like where it was. That the only down side great place to stay and within walking distance to...

It was lovely to read you enjoyed your stay and found us clean and safe. We have actually been discussing putting a BBQ next to the swimming pool so thank you for your thoughts also. Regards Angie

Nice place with comfortable bungalow-like accomodation. The bathrooms are very narrow but otherwise the rooms are great and pacious with private kitchenette. Pool and lots of playing are for kids and nice parking. A bit of a walk to the city, but still nicely located.

Stayed last week for two nights. Arrived from Ayers Rock for a break before further travel north. Very quiet and safe location. Room was fairly basic, but clean and equipped. Pool very small compared to the photograph, but very refreshing on a hot day. Friendly reception staff. Wifi was very good.

The so called "resort" is very far away from the town, it will take you at least 30 mins to walk to the center. And there is really nothing around this place. The apartments are little houses, nothing really special. It was clean, but smelled moist. The pool is very small (the photographer did an amazing job for the catalog...

Thank you for your response. I was sorry to read you felt there was nothing around us since we are in a lovely part of Alice Springs next to several other hotels and the Alice Springs Golf Club and 2 klms from the town centre. I was concerned though when you mentioned the reception not printing one page off for...
