This motel is in the centre of town but it is need of an up date and a clean. Stayed in the same room we had 2 years ago and it still had the same rattly air con which at the time of booking we asked about. The rooms were properly cleaned daily but the sheets were crushed...maybe the drier?...

We stayed at the Elkira for one night only a couple of weeks back whilst travelling from Ayers Rock to Melbourne. Booked a bungalow room as the price was good and looked okay. I can't speak for the rest of the hotel but the bungalow room was pretty bad. They are located at the back of the hotel behind the...

Elkira is a classic motel in Alice. In the centre of town, walking distance to everything. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of downsides to it, parking was a bit of a struggle, i didnt arrive too late, so i had to park in front of a sign that said "no parking in lane way". Otherwise...

Hi Jess8426, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about our motel, we are always striving to impress our guests and make their stay enjoyable. It sounds like our cleaning standards slipped for your stay, this is very disappointing to hear. I have discussed your responce with management and our head of housekeeping today - our aim is...

We stayed one night in a bungalow room and thought we were back in the 1950s! The room was tiny and the bathroom very small too. OK it was cheap but the best thing about it was the shower, hot with pressure. It was clean and the staff were very helpful.

Dear Carol0743, We appreciate your feedback. Our six Budget / Bungalow rooms are quite small, we agree. They are marketed for the budget traveller / for an overnight stay. I'm sorry to hear that it didn't meet your standards and weren't up to your expectations. In our 56 room motel we do have five other room types which include a...

A retro-chic 1970s-style motel but fitted to a high standard, with friendly and helpful staff and a decent and well-priced restaurant. All amenities worked well and the high-speed wi-fi was free. Also free tea, coffee and biscuits. Nice pool and terrace area available. Not as flash as some of the more recent hotels in Alice Springs but it has them...

Stayed two nights at the Best Western Elkira Motel in May. The Airport Shuttle brought me to the Hotel from the Airport in less than 30 minutes. The Hotel is in the town centre. There is a supermarket on the other side of the street. The Todd Mall (the main pedestrian street), the Yeperenye Shopping Centre and other historic sights...

The staff make this place a stand out, accommodation above average, pool was nice size, BBQ was good and location was very good. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and ensure your stay was pleasant. It is the little things that make a difference. The decided to have a BBQ on our second night and they...

The Elkira Court Motel is a short walk away from the downtown area in Alice Springs. The swimming pool was large and looked inviting but unheated and chilly about 19 C in April. Hi Sarah, It's positive to hear that our staff lived up to our expectations, and were friendly and curteous. We do have different room grades, some more recently renovated than others, if we have the opportunity in the future - we would love the opportunity to impress you with another room. Thank you for your feedback! Kind regards, Stephanie Dominguez

You get what you pay for. No good judging this against 4* or 5* hotels. Not the best aircon. Limited views. But comfy bed, decent bathroom, friendly reception and clean. Stayed for 2 nights - going to Uluru and on return from - and would have no reservation about going again. Good location for the shops etc
