As locals looking for an overnight stay, we found the rooms very clean, modern and comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was fabulous and all staff were friendly and professional. We would highly recommend staying at the Chifley and can't wait for our next stay.

We stayed one night at Chifley last week on our way to Uluru via the red centre way. The location is a big plus. It is not too far from the airport, plus just a short walk away from the city centre. The rooms were quite comfortable, though it did get quite hot, as they are a bit small. Bathrooms...

As an ex-local from Alice, I wanted somewhere safe and convenient to stay whilst back in town visiting friends and relatives. The Chifley was ideally located and well known by locals so that we could catch up in the restaurant for a meal or around the pool. Although the resort was built approx 30 years, the rooms were clean, a...

Stayed for 2 nights. The staff were noted to be young and friendly, very professional and well presented. Room was clean and big enough to stretch your legs after a long drive. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very good. The smoke alarm did go off at 2am one night where the whole hotel was evacuated. No communication...

Stayed at the Chifley Hotel for two nights. This hotel is a short 5 minute walk into town and offers a resort feel with great service. Check in was quick and upon walking into the rooms you notice the space and how clean everything was. The room had two double beds, mini bar, iron facilities and offered views of the...

The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, but very spartan. It has a motel atmosphere with parking in front of rooms. The restaurant was quite good for lunch and dinner, but breakfast was a disappointment. The reception personnel are very helpful, but the dinner service staff in the restaurant was not. We were ignored by the waitstaff.

Great hotel for a 3 night stay - the air conditioner worked! The breakfast buffet was a tiny bit pricey, but very good. Coffees, fruits, yogurt, sausage, bacon, eggs, cereal, the works. We had two rooms, and although the construction was old-style concrete block, the rooms stayed cool and the blackout curtains across the sliding doors worked very well. Everything...
