We booked in for a 2 night stay for our wedding anniversary, in a poolside cabin. There were just 10 cabins with exclusive use of our own pool. The cabin was well laid out; comfortable double bed, fridge/ tea/coffee making / ac/ ceiling fans/ very clean ensuite with towels/ and shower accessories. A large hanging wardrobe with hangers, extra blankets....

We went on a last minute trip to visit Kakadu. After a booking mishap we were all sorted. Staff were amazing at sorting it all out so a big thank you. Family friendly, family run resort. The cabins were clean and had basic amenities. We also stayed in the new tents. We were glamping! It was beautiful. Tastefully decorated and...

There are better places to stay in the NT - keep driving. We paid $240 per night to stay in a plain prefab cabin with limited amenities, broken blinds and ordinary surrounds. Yes this place is on the river and greener than its desert surrounds but we experienced much better accommodation elsewhere (Jabiru for instance). The owner must be mean...

Wow, your review really hurts! So sorry you had such a terrible stay. We are a family owned and operated wilderness retreat and do our very best to ensure our guests enjoy their stay. With little infrastructure, including no shire or anyone to rely on for services or a town to draw staff from, when you are busy everything is...

Stayed there two nights, in unpowered site for a motor home . We parked on beautiful green grass and shady trees. We had pizza for dinner on Friday night and it was yummy and we did the Mary River Cruise with Terry which was fantastic and saw croc's! Amenities were clean and well lit of a night.

Cabins are clean and comfortable but not on the Mary River as advertised. The large camping areas are located on the river. There are large areas of grass, but our cabin #25 up the back was on the dusty road with little to no shade for the vehicle or us in the afternoon. . an awful noise when the shower...

Thank you for your comments. Our resort is usually a tranquil retreat where the sounds of nature are a pleasant relief from the noise of city life and when you walk from the car park through to reception the atmosphere of relaxation is usually immediate. That is except on school holidays as we are a popular spot for our local...

We stayed at this Retreat after spending two nights at the Mercure Crocodile Hotel in Jabiru. We deliberately chose the best accommodation - an updated cabin with two beds (one king, one single), a thoroughly well-appointed bathroom, an outside balcony, air-conditioning and ceiling fan. The nightly cost? $240.00, pre-paid, with no meals and no TV. The bathroom was quite outstanding,...

Stayed here with our teenage kids! Love hiking snd seeing the wild wallabies and renting a boat for an hour to see crocs! Saw more Crocs on our own than the Corroborree wetlands tour which was nice but definitely more enjoyable if you're really a big bird watcher. Didn't want to take the touristy jumping crocs tour though. Liked our...

Mary River Retreat was extremely well run with lots of activities on their 900 acre property. The wildlife diversity and quantity here was greater than anywhere else we have stayed at this side of Perth. Equivalent with El Questro as our favourite places to stay in the north west of Australia.

Delightfully situated caravan park with fantastic grassed areas and lots of shade, large sites. Great place just sit back, unwind and chill out. Amenities a bit ordinary but clean. Would love to stay there again.

We stayed here for a night in early July for a friends wedding. The cabins were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and the grounds were beautiful. It was such an experience to drive an hour out of Darwin to this lovely and peaceful retreat. Lots of birds, nice swimming pools and walking tracks. Can hire bikes or golf...
