The heartbreak hotel is a very nice little place. Its the only place to stay in the region but that doesn't mean they don't care. The people are very friendly, there's a well stocked bar, good kitchen and a pool. All a traveller could ask for! Every time I have stayed here I have found it to be as clean...

We stayed at Heartbreak hotel on a road trip from Darwin to Cairns. We had a budget double room which was comfortable, dark, with good AC. Also fridge and kettle in room, towels supplied! This is motel style accommodation not an actual hotel. The toilet block was separate and clean but basic. Good hot showers. We did not eat at...

The hotel is out of the way and there are no other options in the area but although it has basic facility, it was good. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The meals are good, and they can organise helicopter flights over the lost city..

Good grassy sites. Not overly crammed in. Reasonable priced and good reasonable priced meals. When we visited staff were cheerful unlike some hospitality staff in NT. Good spot to rest and dust off. Wide verandas to relax on. Nothing more to tell just trying to reach the 200 words to have my review submitted hahah. Hooray

We decided to venture from Daly Waters intersection with Stuart Highway to Heartbreak Hotel some 270 Kim's away recently. Should take maybe 4 hours tops with a van. Nope. Try a little over six hours with a short stop! The road is a mess and single strip of bitumen with dodgy shoulders to try and move onto when crossing paths...

We called in for mortal and car fuel. Staff were ver friendly, service was fast, foo basic but tasty. Whilst we were there we noticed photographs of the 'Lost City' sandstone rock pillars, which are only accessible by air. We decided to go out and have a look and were well rewarded by the experience. Definitely worth a visit in...

Out of no where at the junction of the tablelands and carpentaria Highways in the Southern Gulf of the Northern Territory sits a pub with nice cold beer. the rooms are great and the owners are very friendly typical outback characters. While there is nothing flash about the pub, the motel is clean and well serviced. The meals are tasty...

We recently stayed for 2 nights at the Heartbreak Hotel. We loved every minute. The staff were really friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable - we had a cabin and we think it was worth every cent. The pool was clean and great after a hot day. The meals were great. We were so pleased we stayed.

Heartbreak offered our first glimpse of greenery, a cool off area at the small but refreshing pool and a generous meal at the restaurant that country people seem to be always proud to offer up. The rooms and amenities were very clean and well presented. Staff were friendly and extremely knowledable about the area - The 'Lost City' is a...

Wonderful improvements since my last visit 2 years ago. This time we stayed in one of the new cabins which was spacious and air-conditioned with a roomy ensuite complete with enormous shower head. The best surprise was an electric kettle in the room as well as the refrigerator. which was not something found 2 years before. Only cons were that...
