We stayed here for 5 days in a two bedroom apartment. It was very clean and tidy and had everything you needed for a long or short stay. It was serviced every day ( sometimes after 5:30pm). It is just across the road from darling harbour and the light rail for easy transport. You do get some noise from the...

The building is HUGE - and the entrance atrium is impressive - but not necessarily in a good way. Taking the elevator up to your room and then walking through the Atrium gives you a sense that each room is but one cell in a massive complex... ...unfortunately that feeling carries over the overall atmosphere of the place. The staff...

Thank you for post. I am sorry to hear that your expectations were not met. As the building is heritage listed with an open atrium and the original hardwood floor from the 1800’s, noise can travel between levels. We do try to monitor this by doing regular nightly patrols and having additional security on during the weekends. We also place...

Considering we paid over AUD 500/night for a 2-bedroom apartment, this was not good value. I would have paid that for a nice clean room (and have paid more in the past), but this just felt grotty. Walls marked, cockroaches, stained carpets, hard thin towels, filthy windows, dodgy sliding door locks. Yuck - just yuck! Complex layout also quite bizarre...

Thank you for your post. I do apologise that the apartment standard did not meet your expectations. You are correct, as the building is heritage listed and was established in the 1800’s as a wool store. The open atrium and the original hardwood floors have been maintained to uphold the authenticity that it was created. We also have an ongoing...

We loved staying at the Oaks Goldsbrough. The rooms were well fitted out with kitchen and washing machine & dryer. The only downfall was an ugly wall to look at from our balcony that could be fixed with wall planting or painting. Nice facilities for swimming, spa pool, sauna and gym but we were too busy to use these much....

Good location but we have previously stayed in a larger room (i bedroom apartment I think) this room's bathroom was very small with a w/machine squeezed in - not much room! Room's outlook was a brick wall - didn't think to decipher which side of the building we were on. Shower had a leak out onto the floor - we...

Stayed as a family of 4 and booked 2 x 1bedroom apartment. it was a spacious apartment that comes with fully equipped kitchenette and launderette facilities within the apartment itself. a note though that the front office might be PACKED at peak hours that you could barely walk through out the door. Location is also only about a good 7-10mins...

I was shocked when I entered the building. I did ask the Concierge (older man) if I could get some help with my bag. He said to use the lift for the disabled from the street. I had no idea how it worked. He said it had instructions on it how to use it but I couldn't see them. I...

Our room was very disappointing. Paid $410 with the wotif mystery deal advertised as a 4 star hotel. It was far from that. Bed was firm and uncomfortable. Bathroom was dated, confined and smelt like it had a sewerage problem. The carpet was old and stained. The walls were paper thin and woke up to people talking and walking around...

I stayed for two weeks on a business trip. The room was very dated and in major need of refurbishment. Would agree with other comments about the internet connectivity, it was atrocious. Whilst the proximity to Darling Harbour is good, be aware that you have to walk through a multistorey car park to get there. It's something that you'll have...
