Given the high hotel prices in Sydney this accommodation represents excellent value. The location could not be more central, just a few steps from Town Hall Station. The rooms are above the pub but I experienced no noise at all from the pub itself. The rooms I used were a good size and the beds comfortable. Shampoo was provided and...

Hotel Coronation does have associate noise due to our location in the center of Sydney CBD. Pricing and a ton of activities on the door step should keep you occupied. As a bed is only a place to sleep in our location. Come try us!

This hotel was great value for a one night stay before a flight. The room was small but well appointed and the bed was comfortable. The location of this hotel can't be beat being right next door to the CBD Woolworths and around the corner from Town Hall station. The lift was old and rickety but worked fine. The service...

Although this hotel isn't the best looking hotel, if you are travelling on a budget or you don't care where you stay then this hotel is perfect. It is in a perfect location as it is in walking distance from anywhere in Central Sydney such as the rocks, darling harbour, Hyde park and public transport systems such as train stations...

For about 100 dollars a night. It is a very nice simple hotel. Too scared to take the elevator. Ask for a room on the higher floors but noise wasn't really an issue. Could hear noise from the street or the pub downstairs. Easy check in and out. Good cheap hotel in really good location.

if you just need somewhere to dump your bags and a place to sleep in Sydney this place is great value. Comfortable rooms with the necessary conveniences, right next door to a supermarket, above a bar restaurant, opposite QVB and less than 100m from Town Hall train station. Helpful friendly staff.

I picked this hotel as it was affordable in the center of Sydney. We had a car and had to park it in a public car park which was a good walk from the hotel with suitcases. The hotel was dated and the room was very small and very noisy! I would rather pay a little bit more and stay...

Stayed for three nights and found hotel to be comfortable & in a very central location. Room was compact and bathroom had recently been renovated. Although above a busy city pub and on Park Street, noise was not an issue. Did not have any meals there, but bar service was good. Lift was a bit scary looking, but all part...

Nice hotel and nice localization. It was just in the centre in the best zone. We had China Town behind us and we had Sydney Town Hall in front. You can go walking everywhere from there. Breakfast was really good and the service too.

First time. Had heard about from other travellers. Clean, comfortable with good meals and cold beer. Add location, friendly staff and a reasonable tariff. Transport at door with abundant shopping and sightseeing.

Just left Hotel Coronation this morning following a four-night stay in Sydney. We would highly recommend it, especially to budget-minded travelers. It is very well located for public transportation and walking about. Our room was clean and comfortable, bathroom adequate, refrigerator and tea and coffee welcome. Woolworth's right next door, which is great for anything you might want or need....

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
