From the minute I arrived until I left, every staff member was brilliant to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble. And OH MY GOD, the bed and pillows were the best I have ever slept on in any hotel ever!!!!!

My parents and husband and I had a very comfortable stay at the Amora Jamison Hotel. My parents had stayed here before, and we booked the hotel due to its close proximity to the Port of Sydney. The bed was the most comfortable that I had ever slept on. I will have to find out the make and manufacturer -...

The Zamora is in a great central CBD location close to Marin place, Circular Quay, Castlereigh st , not far to The Rocks. The room was spacious and the bed soft but strange upholstered chairs that looked like they were upholstered in some imitation velvet. Good sized bathroom with a full bath and great water pressure in the shower, something...

Lacking breakfast choices of oat porridge and fresh local fruits in season, and fish Char restaurant good quality but lacking in a variety of local vegetables in season (other than potato and broccolini). Same with conference dinner.

Solid facilities and service. Concierge was particularly helpful. I attended a conference here, and it was well run. Food however was average in the Gallery restaurant. I would stay here again.Convenient to pop down to the Rocks.

Magnificent hotel, the most impressive modern art and craft I have seen in a hotel for some time, on the walls and in alcoves on every level. My disappointment was the gym, only one bike and tiny area allocated. Had to queue each morning (at 6am just for the bike!) and no fans in the tiny gym(yes if we exercise we...

Every staff member was so polite and helpful, and looked happy to work there which made us feel happy to be there, including the cleaning staff, bar and restaurant staff, door staff and reception staff. We had a tricky start to get to the hotel as our transport that we booked through the hotel's recommendations picked us up over 1...

Good location, was able to walk to many attractions and catching a cab was no problem. Good hotel for the price, and pretty clean. I did have a problem using my converter and blew out my curling iron, so be careful. Would stay again.

Very clean and well serviced for food and beverage. Very accommodating staff. I had one thing out of place but as soon as I informed the reception, it was rectified immediately. Our company policy is to stay at the Amora, which is fortunate really as it is a great spot to spend a few nights.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
