This hotel is very centrally located; we could walk to Circular Quay, The Rocks, the Botanical Garden, and Darling Harbour very easily. Very comfortable, with a beautiful view of downtown lights and the harbor from our 27th-floor corner room!

I stayed here for a business trip and the hotel was very conveniently located near my office and the harbour. Just minutes away from the harbour so it was a convenient walk there. Very close to lots of great restaurants. Good value for the cost. Service was nice too and rooms are very clean. Stay on a higher floor if...

Stayed at the Amora Hotel on business and have to say I had the best nights sleep. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable. The facilities were outstanding and the staff friendly and impressive. I cant wait to return. If there was a down side it would have to be my partner couldn't make the trip.

Well maintained hotel with modern, upscale accommodations. Location is centrally located and close to everything. Only drawback is that Jamieson street is quite steep and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

I have stayed at the Amora a couple of times now and each time it has been great. It's good value, lovely facilities and you can't beat the location! We will definitely be back. Oh, just be patient whilst the George St roadworks are going on...it makes it a little tricky to access into Jamieson St...but then, everywhere in Sydney...

enjoyed the stay, would have been better if breakfast finished later, we invited guests , but had to go elsewhere. Close to the Rocks and Darling Harbour which we enjoyed. Would stay again as it suits our budget.

Was such a pleasure coming to stay at the hotel. The service is some of the best service I have experienced in Australia. Everyone greeted you with hello and the doors were always opened for us in the front lobby. Nothing was a problem. You could not tell if any of the staff were having a bad day because they...

Loved how central this hotel was to public transport and the quay. The facilities were comfortable and after a long day a nice welcome to come back to. The staff were helpful and friendly. I couldn't fault the place.

Great location in the CBD - walking distance to everything that i needed. Room was spacious and had great amenities. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Only downfall was the WIFI - terrible access throughout the hotel.

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park.
