Stayed here for 4 weeks. The location is very central and convenient. The subway is close by, lots of restaurants and take-aways are just around the corner. It is a 5 minute stroll to Darling Harbour, 30 min to Circular Quay and 10 minutes to Hyde Park. The gym facilities and the swimming pool of the Quest hotel nearby.

Stayed there twice when vistied Sydney. Great location as it was located not far from Chinatown and centre of the city. Good and spacious well equipped room. Coffee and tea in the room are generous. Staff was fine but when they were busy they were not as friendly. It was more a serviced apartment so there were no breakfast/restaurant of...

I booked on 13th June to stay at APX Darling Harbour, we had investigated the location as my Mum is a senior and wanted somewhere close. I had a call on the 16/11 two days before we arrived from management advising they wanted to upgrade us to their better hotel APX World Trade, I tried to tell them I wasn't...

We stayed here for 3 nights from Thursday 19/11 to Sunday 22/11/15. We didn't need any service except to book a taxi. Reception seem to be very unfriendly. Location of this apartment is superb as it is located right in the middle of Chinatown where all the restaurants are. The taxi driver brought us right to the door step as...

Extremely disappointed to find that my credit card was debited several days after I checked out for an apparent minibar bottle of wine . I did not have any wine and have emailed to this effect eight times for them to refund me. However they do not reply. I have also asked for the contact details of their manager but...

Like previous reviewers have pointed out this place can be a little tricky to find. However armed with that knowledge we had no problems locating the APX apartments. The best part about this property is the location. Smack bang in the middle of Chinatown with loads of good restaurants right on your door step. Just 1 block over is a...

I stayed here on a business trip, I booked the hotel myself as I like to stay close the Darling Harbour. The hotel itself is very difficult to find with only one way street entrance, it took me an hour to actually find this hotel & its car park. The checkin process was not very professional from staff and no...

A 24hour manned reception with polite and helpful staff. Perfect location just on the edge of the harbour. Gym access at their other compound (2mins walk). Walking distance from everything. Comfortable rooms, plenty of space, good bathroom. Happy days.

Great location, right in the heart of China Town. A bit hard to get to by car, but it does have secure parking. If travelling this way, I would suggest you ask for instructions. Room was much bigger than most Sydney budget hotel rooms, and was very clean and comfortable, with all facilities you could ask for. Staff were very...

The hotel's location which is very strategic and close to all the attractions is excellent. Amenities were praiseworthy. The biggest grouse has to be the lazy housekeepers! We were in the room when they knocked the door to clean the unit, so we told them to come back in 30 minutes time as we were in the midst of getting...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
