I stayed in the hostel 3 nights in February travelling solo. Pros: good price compared to other more central hostels, close to transport - bus stops just outside which takes you to the city every 10 mins. En suite bathrooms attached to rooms that look recently refurbished, with nice decor, under draw beds are good for storage to stop luggage...

It seems good when you first get there. Good location nice appearance. Then you put your food in the fridge and notice a sign that tells you, your food will get thrown out if you don't purchase one of their fridge bags. When booking this hostel there was no sign of this policy anywhere so I thought they can't force...

Booked to stay a full month at the end of our tour around Austrailia. we paid up in full and was not made aware at the time that they do not give refunds if you have to make any amendments. We decided it was too far out to find work centrally so asked if we could shorten trip! We were...

6 beds in a very confined space and low hygiene levels made it difficult to inhale oxygen. A couple sharing bed below me, shaking the bunk at unsociable hours. Decent location, nice people and good price however, so at the old adage says, "you get what you pay for," plus a bit more.

Stayed for 2 night business trip, great location close to lots of bars and restaurants and a beautiful street. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was basic (as is to be expected) but clean and beds were super comfy. Bathroom was surprisingly huge and actually pretty stylish!

This place was a nice find after a few not so good hostels. Except they split up my boyfriend and I and said there was nothing they could do yet we checked in hours before other roommates that were staying the same amount of days and it could have been switched. The one lady was rude in reception. One room...

I stayed there for 1 night on a business trip and enjoyed my stay. Friendly staff that greet you with a smile. I had a room to myself with a queen size bed and my own bathroom. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable. There is no TV in this room but that is ok because you can find other...

We had booked a private room with bathroom or 4 nights. Room was small with bunk beds but everything was clean, neat and tidy. The bathrooms were clean too, just missed a hook for hanging towels (well, there was one but on the door at other end of the bathroom). The staff was really nice, friendly and we had breakfast...

Couldn't gush more about the place- clean as hell, the staff are a pack of darlings and super professional. Also the gardens turned me into a happy, lazy, chain-smoking, nothing-doer- it was fabulous.

The only thing this hostel has going for it, is its garden with its gorgeous jacaranda trees. Otherwise, reception made the error of giving my bed to another person even though I had paid (read, I had no where to sleep). This happened to another person at the hostel and they asked them if they would sleep with their friend....

Staying in Glebe

Neighbourhood Profile
Glebe
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
