Great location in Downtown Sydney.. close to the train station.. walking distance to most of the things I wanted to do. Staff at the counter were friendly and helpful. Downsides is that it is in need of repair and dirty. I was staying in a 16 bed mixed dorm and someone complained of bed bugs.. I saw the bites all...

Not clean or tidy. Staff member was rude and unhelpful. Poor organisation with rooms and guests. The only upside was the free wi-fi which worked well. The beds are uncomfortable and there the air-conditioning barely works, making the rooms unbearably hot and humid, even on a cool day. Not reccomended.

The place is well located close to train station and CBD, one of the best pricea that I could find in the night. Beds are not that good and place isn't the cleanest, but it work. Staying here just for one night.

I enjoyed the stay at the first since they offers reasonable weekly rate but the cleanliness here always down to the drain. They only have one cleaner to clean everything but lot of receptionist. Or sometimes two. The kitchen is small and cramped during lunch or dinner. Since there are light rail construction nearby, it quite noisy so avoid the...

Cheap dorm hostel but the room cleanliness and common room are not in good nice condition, although there is someone doing the sweeping and moping everyday but the overall area still "sticky and a bit of smelly" especially the pantry. However it is still a strategic location for short staying.

My partner and I booked 2 nights in the cheapest, mixed dorm room. We arrived before check in time but fortunately they had a place for us to leave our bags. When we checked in later they didn't have enough blankets for us so we had to come back later to get them. Unfortunately for us, we got back too...

Location was fab in the city and good price compared to most. Hostel has the potential to be good with spacious dorm rooms. However in our 3night stay the room was not cleaned at all and it was filthy when we arrived! Beds not cleaned between guests, just stripped by the person checking out. Toilets/showers were smelly and disgusting! Plastic...

The hostel is very central and compared to the others it's quite cheap, but the rooms aren't very clean, the common room isn't too big/nice and the kitchen is WAY too small. If you're low on money this is a good option, but if you're going for a place where you can meet other backpackers I'd skip this one.

Filthy rooms, unfriendly residents, the kitchen was unusable with no utensils and incredibly dirty. Bathrooms were coated in hair and never cleaned (we showered with shoes on), people smoked indoors, the staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful and there was no area to leave our bags so we had to carry them around the city all day. Stayed in many...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
