Just spent a week as Georges guest and enjoyed it immensely. Reminds me of a great little pension in Italy (even though Georges. Heritage is Greek). Huge, comfortable, clean room. Showing a bit of age around the edges, but that only adds to it's charm. Location is wonderful. Walkable to the city center or a very short bus ride. On a...

I travel to Sydney frequently and usually get a hotel in the CBD from wotif or lastminute. As there was none available at a decent price last weekend I booked Hotel 59. I was really pleased with this decision. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast made to order from the cafe menu. The location was very convenient to...

If you're visiting Sydney and looking for an affordable, safe and comfortable hotel, you can't do much better the Hotel 59. I stayed here about 10 days and found it just right. I am a little older than the backpacker crowd, but not in need of top-dollar comforts. Yet Hotel 59 did offer a quiet, clean room with refridgerator, coffee...

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at the hotel 59 very much. Small and personal hotel, simple and individual rooms, in a great neighbourhood with good restaurants. good value for money, and located close of public transpots. i'd recommend it to everyone looking for a quaint, laid-back, and personal boutique hotel in a big city.

I spend 2nights here and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent ; just a few blocks to the Kingscross station. The room was basic, clean and quiet. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer. I would stay here again!!

We learned about Hotel 59 from TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed with our stay there. We walked everyday from the hotel each of our 3 days in Sydney and the location is perfect for such outings. George was very helpful and friendly and our room at the front of the building was great. Woke up to chirping birds...

We read good things about this hotel from Tripadvisor reviews as well as in a couple of the Frommers guide books. What the heck? I'm assuming that all the good reviews were from people who did NOT stay in one of the family rooms. The family room was so incredibly old fashioned and in need of repair that I couldn't...

Quiet residential area for ensuring a good sleep, as well as joggings in the morning. Yet it is not very far from the metro. The cleaness and facilities in the room are good enough. Plus there is free WIFI in the hotel. The most important is that the Owner George and his sister are so helpful, they worried and tried...
