It was ideal for a relaxing and quiet stay at the end of each frenetic day showing grandchildren as much of Sydney in five days.Could retreat to room at night in peace Excellent value for money and the proximity to train and bus stations very helpful. Front desk staff helpful and patient.

Was a nice room. The airconditioning was not very good but everything else was great! Good, quiet location. Pretty cheap considering location. The room was very clean and comfortable - perfect for a short or long stay

Comprehensive tourist brochures available. Cute little front lounge for relaxing. Iced water at front check-in a nice little touch! Small & intimate restaurant area. Just what we wanted! Easy location to find.

Room wasn't clean. A lot of dust some places. Shower dirty and yoghurt plus other dirt under the bed. Removed the yoghurt right away. Clean the shower next day. However they didn't clean or remove the dust for 4 days. That's super poor. People have allergies. And this dust was on the plate with the food and water they are...

Friendly staff and good check in experience. However the carpet in the rooms and hallway were absolutely filthy. We didn't dare walk around barefoot in the room. Bathrooms were modern and updated but the rest of the room was pretty rough, with cracks along the bottom of the walls. The bed was 2 singles pushed together, and the bed sheets...

We had problems with the room access key after breakfast the next morning. It took 2 trips to reception and one of the reception staff to actually use their access key for us to get back into the room. Unfortunately it seemed to be a problem with other guests as well.

a bit of a let down compared to other travelodges weve stayed at and even since the last time we stayed here.the price was also only $ 40 dollars cheaper than a five star hotel we had stayed at two nights before.

Great friendly and helpful staff, efficient check in and check out processes. We loved our room, comfortable beds and the new renovated bathrooms were great. Buffett breakfast always a plus, great range and loved the chef made to order eggs!

We enjoyed our stay here, was very easy to walk to the rocks and enjoy circular quey and darling harbour without having to pay a large amount for the room. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again!

Fabulous service at the front desk, clean, quiet, large hotel.... Perfect for a good night's sleep and perfect location for Sydney CBD and for North Sydney. Lots of great food closeby and a 2 min walk to Wynyard station!

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
