I booked this hotel for one night prior to departing Sydney. Although the price was reasonable the experience was appalling. Was not informed that the Reception closes at 4.00pm and the hotel is locked. Arrived late evening and stood outside on the footpath until some kindly people who were staying here let me in. The auto connect phone to staff...

Have stayed here a few times for business, most recently in late January. Certainly it rates as value as it is easily at least $50.00 a night cheaper than others within the area. One minute to George Street and less than ten down to Darling Harbour makes it a great location, with no additional cost for secure parking. It has...

We stayed 6 nights on the 14th floor and really can't fault this place. Our apartment was nicely decorated, well equipped and in a great location within easy walking distance to transport, provisions and many of the sights. The lady we dealt with at check-in went out of her way to make sure we knew how to get to everything...

Location, location, location. We stayed here for 5 days. The hotel is just literally 2 minutes walk from the Darling Harbour area, a 1 minute walk from World Square (shopping complex and restaurants) and is bustling with restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores just next to the hotel. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean, very spacious with...

The rooms are very modern, clean , and comfortable. We were on the fourth floor so it was relatively quiet above the streets. It is located close to the docks (15 minutes) which makes it nice for cruisers to stay before or after their trip. Only negative was the lack of disclosure for the wifi. It is not free and...

We stayed here overnight with our 4 year old daughter. We couldnt believe how central we were to Darling Harbour, Chinatown & more. Free parking was good, apartment was clean & tidy. Reception staff were friendly. Kitchen & bathrooms need to be updated but other than that they were very clean & beds were comfortable.

I stayed for 3 nights on the 12th Floor. The Waldorf is center to so much. it has great coffee right outside the door and fabulous Spanish restaurants only a few steps up the footpath. Down the road on the corner is a great cafe for breakfasts. I had a one bedroom apartment that was a great size. Bed was...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
