On checking in I asked about the noise from the nearby construction sites we were told that there would be minimal noise and that the suites of the hotel are only on one side of the building, so basically if you want to stay in a suite in this hotel one needs to put up with the inconvenience, the jack...

So many times when I stay in hotels I hear the bang of doors late at night or early in the morning, the wah wah of the next rooms' TV, voices in the hall, whatever. Not this place. Quiet like a tomb - truly amazing. The breakfast is expansive and way over-priced. The staff is very professional and the concierge...

Decent business hotel. There is nothing wrong in the hotel overall but as we say the devil is into the details especially in the hospitality industry. You would expect when you are staying in a 5 Star Hotels to have all amenities in the room and do not need to ask for them every time. I am referring to a...

The Hotel has a fantastic location a 10 minute walk to Circular Quay for the Opera House and Harbour Bridge and the same to Darling Harbour for the restaurants and bars there. Good business hotel, but less appealing location if you want to squeeze some site seeing into your business stay. While it's only about a 10 min walk down to the harbor, you pass a lot of other hotel choices on this walk. If I came again I would give up some of the nice-ness of Westin facility to position myself...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
