Situated in a wonderful location just a few minutes walk to the Rocks and Circular Quay and not far from lots of shopping. We had an executive studio on the tenth floor which provided everything we needed for a 5 night stay in the city. The lounge area was comfortable, the kitchen had a hob and full oven and plenty...

Great service, our room was made up each day and fresh towels are always a bonus! The location was excellent we enjoyed walking to most of the places on interest, lovey cafes and restaurant close by. Our two bedroom suite was very comfortable with plenty of room for 4 people.

I was in Sydney for work..... I was put in a room facing George Street, on the first level...... George Street.... Road works, Beeping horns at all hours of the night, Loud obnoxious people wandering the streets yelling and a pub a couple of doors down with rather rowdy patrons and loud music...... I don't think i need to paint...

The rooms need complete reviewing, the blanket comforter had a hole in it followed with a couple of stains on it as well as the carpet. With the amount of money you're paying you would think that maintenance would be on top of its game. If I had to put something positive into this review it would have to be...

Mantra is an excellent hotel. The accommodation is superb, with everything thought of. We were met by the Lady Manager, warmly welcomed and offered coffee and snack while our luggage was taken to the room. Staff are efficient and friendly, food was always wholesome and good. Everything was clean and tidy.

Our room was dirty on arrival. The microwave broken and the sofa bed appalling. Water damage to the carpet from the overflowing shower. Burn marks in kitchen. Staff and location were great. Maybe the newer, refurbished rooms are better, ask for one of these when booking. Not for a large family.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The location is perfect - easy walking distance to the Opera House, the quay and the Rocks. The rooms have everything you could possibly need and look newly renovated. The roof top pool makes a great hang out spot and even has a BBQ. The dining room menu is reasonably priced...

Despite a new revamp with shiny but disposable furnishings, there's a lot less attention to guests than there used to be. No more comp wine, breakfast has gone buffet, no free wi-fi... Very expensive for what you get. I don't like to feel short changed by what I've always considered to be Australia's best hotel brand.

Arrived yesterday and proceeded straight to the hotel from the airport (20-25mins drive). This hotel is located at the corner of Bond Street and George Street but majority George Street (including the front of the hotel) is under construction. I arrived around 12:30pm (if I recall correctly). Checking in was easy and was told my the counter that I'm lucky...
