Within easy walking distance of the Central Train Station and Darling Harbour, the Mercure is a clean and comfortable accommodation choice. The breakfast buffet and dinner menus are good and at the price point that you'd expect for a hotel restaurant in the centre of Sydney. I've been staying there for over 10 years now and I'll keep coming back.

For the price that we paid, we are very happy! The room was surprisingly spacious compared to the pictures on the internet! And the toilet was very clean and water was hot on demand!! I would suggest anyone to sign up to the accor hotel club because you get complimentary breakfast and wifi! Otherwise it's $10 for 10gb of internet...

There are a couple of reasons to book into a certain hotel - price and location, not necessarily in that order. When there are other options in the vicinity, there is only one reason to keep returning to that sane establishment - you like it. This is the case with the Mercure Sydney. When I arrived, to be greeted by...

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The staff were helpful. The hotel was clean and the location was great. If you stay here do yourself a favour and walk round to Spice Alley for some great food. We would stay here again.

Visited Sydney, booked the hotel through a travel agency, 4 stars , about £ 800 for 2 people for 4 nights not including breakfast ,not impressed maybe I'm used to European hotels but I do not think its worthy of its 4 stars, I have read in reviews that it will be doing some restoration, this has come a little...

After spending numerous months in Muslim countries the restaurant was recommended. They had all you could eat breakfast. Bacon, sausage and ham. Scrambled eggs, mushrooms, orange juice, coffee, everything you can't find. It's expensive at $29.50 but I got my money's worth.

Mercure Sydney is in a great position with easy access to the CBD, Darling Harbour and Chinatown., The hotel is clean and well appointed. Staff are helpful and very polite. With reasonably priced parking it is a great stepping off point for a trip to Sydney.

Stayed there 4 nights. 2 double beds standard room with breakfast. Toilet is bit small for family but OK. Breakfast was really good. Lots of choices. Staffs are really friendly and good location. You can take bus or train just right front of hotel. Highly recommended.
