Where to begin! I recently stayed at the Swissotel in Sydney for a short getaway. I cannot fault a single thing at the hotel. From the moment our taxi pulled up outside to the moment our taxi left at the end of our stay the staff were fantastic, especially the doorman Clifford who is an asset to the hotel. Every... More

Booked thru Expedia. Travelled during school holiday as a family. I have to say its hard to find a 5 star hotel that ticks ALL the boxes: which for us means: location/hospitality/value/comfort and vibe... this one comes pretty close. I had never heard of this hotel prior to our stay and I will tell everyone about it! Location is prime... More

Let me first clarify my position first - I booked a signature room (top end) with a eat park and shop package. I expected a high end experience in the heart of the city. yes the room was at the top of the hotel and yes it was well appointed BUT not in the top 5 of executive experiences. The... More

everything was perfect. staff were friendly, rooms were clean and beautiful, very reasonably priced. Pool and spa were beautiful. Gym lacked equipment, just enough for cardio and light weights, but who goes on holiday to use a gym? coffee machine in rooms were awesome and the buffet breakfast was the best ive ever had.

If you are looking for a accommodation in the heart of Sydney with Pitt Street Mall and the QVB at your door step and within walking distance from everything, Swissotel is the spot. Fantastic hotel in the heart of Sydney, very quiet considering location. Girls weekend ages 1 30 35 and 60. Breakfast was amazing varied choices, room service also great after a long day shopping. Concierge could not have been more helpful

We like this hotel as the location is heart of CBD. Hard to find it if you are visiting for the first time. If you are arriving by car, hard to find car park right in front of the small hotel entrance. Valet car parking is $ 60.Maybe because we booked with third party, our room view was really nothing... Recently stayed at the Swissotel in Sydney for 6 nights on business. Good location, access to services etc, and reasonably appointed, so all good from that side. Enjoyed a couple of nights recently on the Swissotel eat, drive, shop package which included valet parking and buffet breakfast. The hotel was faultless. Every staff member friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent, we enjoyed happy hour drinks every evening, and tested out the gym and pool facilities. An oasis in the craziness of Sydney CBD.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
