This was a great little find. It's a smaller hotel and does not have a restaurant inside (there is one next door). There was a little kitchenette in the room and it was not far from a grocery store. The hotel staff were very pleasant. We got there early and could not check in, so I was a little disappointed...

We wanted a well priced, well located hotel for our family holiday - with our three young kids. We were thoroughly impressed by our stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was ideal and with a train station just nearby, plus easy walk to most places inc restaurants and attractions, we were really happy with our choice to...

Enjoyed the stay in the very modern, stylish room with a location that is ideal for shoppers and close enough that you can walk to Darling Harbour and Chinatown. Train station across the road as well as Hyde park for the children to run around if you have them with you.

The hotel is very centrally located to the CDB. Front rooms with balcony have great views over Hyde Park. Close proximity to restaurants. Rooms are comfortable and staff are pleasant and very helpful. Excellent value for money. Rooms have just been updated and are very quite with a small kitchenette. The hotel has a restaurant on the ground floor with...

We stayed as a big family group in July 2014 and the hotel was very accomodating of our large number of rowdy members. The room my family shared was really large by hotel standards, with two full single beds and one queen bed in the open space. And there was still room for a small sitting area and dining table...

Two insects under my pillow, two lights not working, windows are dirty, stupid cold breakfast with bread in the fridge, wrong information on web site good location with parking, but with the money you can also stay another better place with cheaper price and park your car at the public car park nearby.

This hotel is right on Elizabeth St, opposite Hyde Park. You walk across the park, you are in Surry Hills with all the nice restaurants and cool boutiques. You walk the other way and you are in the middle of the city shopping district with the department stores and the big name chains. It's really a great location. When I...

Stayed here for 2 nights during Easter. Good value with reasonable sized and well equipped room. Centrally located, walking distance to shops and tourist attractions. The room is not really soundproof, we can hear noises both from Elizabeth St and the corridor. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
